The experience was fabulous and the food was amazing. We really enjoyed everything on the tasting menu. We drove from Vancouver just to eat at this wonderful restaurant. Located on a beautiful street in Victoria's Chinatown. Corbin the chef and owner was lovely and very welcoming. Our server from the Netherlands (I forgot his name- sorry) was extremely knowledgeable about the food and wine and also very attentive to us. I haven't stopped thinking about our evening. Thanks...
The staff were amazing! We went for a birthday and we had some special requests and the staff all accommodated our requests when they could have easily said no. The food and drinks were amazing but the staff will keep us coming back!
My family and I had a fantastic experience at Ugly Duckling. The tasting menu was delicious (especially with the wine pairing because they complemented each other quite well) and our servers were knowledgeable, passionate, and good at their craft. We were well take. care of. It was definitely a special occasion. Can't wait to go back.
