Our Appetizers and 2 main dishes were very good and the service from the waitress excellent. However, my lamb shank was not good - there was a congealed mass of pasta and the shank was somewhat dry. I did mention my concern to the male waiter who asked us how the dinners were and he asked if I wanted an alternative but by then my friends had almost finished so there was little point in waiting for another option. I would have expected some offer to reduce the bill but nothing...
We are longtime diners and fans of Vis-a-Vis and the quality and service is wonderful. Great food, incredibly attentive and accommodating service, and very reasonable prices for the extremely high quality preparations. The duck is the best I've ever had. Highly recommended!!
My friend and I had a wonderful evening at Vis a Vis. There were a few problems with getting our order to us which the manager and the waiter handled expertly and to our satisfaction. Service and attention to detail at this establishment are fantastic. I've been here a few times before, and I will definitely come again.
