Perfect experience in Victoria! My family and I went here for my mom’s early birthday. The foods are delicious, portions are perfect! Shannon (forgive me if i spelled it incorrectly), the server, made our experience even better. All the other staff is friendly, gentle and professional. The atmosphere is cozy. Highly recommend for everyone!

I recently visited and, unfortunately, it wasn’t the best experience. While the hostess was incredibly kind and welcoming, the restaurant itself was extremely dark, which made it difficult to read the menu and created a bit of discomfort. The use of a fake candle also took away from the ambiance. As for the food, I tried the cacio e pepe, which was okay, but the sauce wasn’t well-emulsified, leaving a pool of oil at the bottom of the dish. The dessert, a chocolate peanut butter creation, was mostly delicious, though the candied peanuts on top didn’t add the crunch I was expecting and kind of left a layer of fat in my mouth. The ice cream also was quite icy. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired, as our server came across as quite rude and standoffish, which made the overall experience a bit uncomfortable. I hope they can improve on these aspects because the restaurant does have potential.

Food was good albeit pricey we got the pork belly, and tartare. We also ordered milk with cookies and were charged $5.50 for the glass of milk which was a bit of a shock!

Went for what we thought would be a quiet spot for an anniversary dinner. The staff were snooty when I asked to be moved because of a draft. They said because of other bookings they couldn’t move us. The table beside us were so loud and there is no soft furnishing to absorb the sound. We actually couldn’t talk to each other. The food was overly salty and we left as soon as possible after telling our server of our experience. She ignored us and gave us the bill. We will never go back again

Fine dining quality food and drink in a slightly more relaxed setting and atmosphere. Family-style sharing plates, everything we had was excellent. The 'tater-tots' were a surprise and probably the best, pork belly and beers probably the other standouts.

The chef's special was incredibly delicious and well worth every penny. This is a great spot and anyone visiting Victoria should visit the Wind Cries Mary..... unfortunately no Hendrix was playing...but still a 10/10

It is overpriced when considering the quality of the food and the poor service. The mac and cheese was overly salty. We ordered a glass of wine to accompany this, hoping it might balance out the saltiness. The server brought the glass, but no wine. Very peculiar. Made the experience unenjoyable. Cannot recommend.

Had an absolute delight! Our waiter was very helpful with our dish selection & we loved every option. The tater tots appie was a favourite and the fried chicken was perfection! We were too stuffed for dessert and since it was my bday, our waiter still brought over a bday candle in a dish. Very thoughtful. Atmosphere is cool - service was quick and professional!
