You will never be disappointed going to Young’s. The service is always incredible, the food taste exactly as you’d expect and everything has a warm glow to it. It’s just people loving what they’re doing, making good food, at reasonable prices. Fantastic.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. Kind and attentive. The food was alright but it’s impressive how long they’ve been in business and I can see why because they give massive portions. We got the deals and it was $14 per dish, we maybe spent $33 for the whole thing for 2 dishes and tip. One dish could’ve fed me and my boyfriend. We’d definitely return in the future. Again, service was nice. The only real issue would be that it smells a bit like cigarettes but again, service was good.

We were reading online and found Young’s restaurant and don’t regret going there at all. We took a cab from our hotel and arrived to meet a very friendly server. The restaurant was quiet and we seated ourselves immediately. We enjoyed the dinner for two and the portions, the server was prompt in bringing a box for our leftovers. It was like he showed up out of nowhere with the box. We truly appreciated the fact he called a cab for us and even waited outside for the cab to arrive. He even opened the door to the cab for us.We will come back on our next return to Victoria

Hands down the worst Chinese food I have ever experienced. Actually, probably the worst food in general I have ever experienced. Chicken Chow Mein, grease covered noodles with freakishly undercooked chunks of flabby chicken throughout. Sweet and sour chicken balls, freakishly undercooked rolled up chicken covered in soggy greasy bread. Breaded almond chicken, one soggy lump of greasy breaded “chicken” with chunks of what might have been….the almonds? Sweet and sour sauce, liquid red water of some sort. And please, don’t get me started on the “Spring Rolls.” Overly cooked, hollow tubes filled with massive chunks of what looks like mushy expired vegetables with what I could only assume and pray for to be chucks of pork on the inside.
Will never return and remaining hopeful I don’t wake up tomorrow morning with food poisoning from the few bites I managed to be able to swallow. Been two hours and mouthwash won’t even cut the taste.

Vegetarian options: Had vegetable chop suey and lemon chicken, and their delicious lemon sauce as well as many other delicious items. I recommend them highly. So glad I found them!

Oh my goodness, have been back in Victoria since October 2023. Best Chinese food around. Hot, fresh and way too much. Absolutely the best egg rolls I’ve ever had. Sweet & sour pork, the best. No red sauce-yayyy! The fellow who took our order and served us has the best attitude. As we were eating our meal, there were orders after orders being picked up. We will definitely be back. Massive bowl of Wor Wonton, the broth had lots of flavour and the vegetables were cooked perfectly!
The sweet and sour had nice cuts of Pork, & noodles weren’t greasy.
