“We ordered for pick up. After receiving our food we realized we had locked our keys and phones in the car. They allowed me to use their phone to call roadside assistance which was going to take up to 90 min. They sat us down in the restaurant and took our to-go food to the back and plated and delivered it back to our table hot and ready to enjoy. And enjoy we did… food was fresh and delicious. Their assistance during their busiest hours was so appreciated. We ended up really enjoying our dinner and there was a lot to bring home. This yummy experience will bring us back again and again!“

“Went here for a casual birthday dinner. The waitress was wonderful. The atmosphere was fresh with well cared for plants and green roller blinds in the window. Small and comfortable space. The bento box had small portions. 4 california roll pieces, 3 tempura pieces, 2 gyosa pieces, a small chicken teriyaki serving, 2 orange slices. A miso and bowl of rice were served just before the bento, as part of the meal. The miso soup was good. The mango roll sauce was on the sweeter side. The chicken yakasoba was okay. The simmering hot plate was way hotter than I am used to. It sizzled for a long time and some of the noodles were then fused to the hot plate. I am not sure of this is why the dish was a bit dry and one dimensional in flavour. If we go back in the future, we would probably get the miso and a few rolls and maybe a gyosa order.“

“Unique choices and assortment of Japanese food.
One of the better sushi rolls I have had in a long time.
Most sushi places have went down in quality and up in price. This place is quality food and decently priced.“

“A Love Letter to Momo Sushi and the Soul of Japan
From the moment I stepped into Momo Sushi on Lakeshore Road, I knew I was in for something special. The air carried the delicate aroma of fresh fish, the warm umami of simmering broths, and the faint, comforting scent of grilled soy-glazed perfection. But nothing could have prepared me for the sheer excellence that was about to unfold.
The tuna sashimi arrived first—deep crimson slices, cut with a precision that would make a katana master nod in approval. It was so fresh, so buttery, it practically melted on my tongue, whispering the taste of the Pacific like an ancient haiku. The assortment of rolls followed, each a work of edible art. Creamy avocado, crisp cucumber, luscious eel, and sweet, tangy unagi sauce all came together like the perfect balance of yin and yang.
Then came the chicken yaki udon—thick, chewy noodles tangled with tender chicken, kissed by the flames of the teppan grill, and coated in that deep, caramelized soy glaze. Every bite felt like a journey through Osaka’s bustling street markets, where sizzling noodles and laughter fill the air.
This meal, this experience, felt more than just food—it was an immersion into the soul of Japan, a place I have always loved, always admired. The land of Hondas and Lexus, of samurai and Pokémon, of the gentle precision of a sushi blade and the explosive technique of a jiu-jitsu throw. Japan isn’t just a country; it’s an art form, a way of life, a spirit that transcends borders.
If only I could go back in time, reach into fate itself, and choose my mother to be Japanese—so that Japan could live in my very blood. But perhaps, in some ways, it already does. Every bite of sushi, every roaring Honda engine, every moment on the mat in a jiu-jitsu roll, every nostalgic Pokémon battle—I carry Japan in my heart.
And for those fleeting moments at Momo Sushi, with the taste of ocean-fresh sashimi still lingering, I felt at home.“

“Komo Sushi is truly a gem in Kelowna – easily the best sushi experience in town. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm and welcoming, setting the stage for a fantastic meal.
The sushi here is simply outstanding. The fish is exceptionally fresh, with a melt-in-your-mouth quality that is hard to find anywhere else. Each roll is crafted with precision and care, highlighting the balance of flavors and textures that every sushi lover craves. Their sashimi is sliced to perfection, and the specialty rolls showcase a wonderful creativity, all while remaining true to traditional Japanese flavors.
Service at Komo Sushi is equally impressive. The staff is attentive, friendly, and genuinely invested in making sure every customer leaves happy. Orders arrive promptly, and the team goes above and beyond to make recommendations and ensure dietary preferences are respected.
On top of all this, the pricing is very reasonable, especially considering the high quality of both the ingredients and service. Komo Sushi delivers incredible value, making it an ideal choice for both casual dining and special occasions.
To the owners and team at Komo Sushi – thank you for bringing such exceptional cuisine to Kelowna! This restaurant has truly set a high standard, and I look forward to dining here again soon. Highly recommended!“

“I have a nut allergy so I tend to be very wary of eating at restaurants. The waitress was lovely and reassuring. The food was absolutely divine! Even my children were enthused and they're usually chicken nugget kids! Such a lovely experience! Thank you again.“

“Really enjoyed my visit - the service, food, and atmosphere were all amazing.
Their fish tasted fresh and reminded me of the food I had in Japan. Our server was kind and very attentive to our needs. We went on a Sunday so it wasn’t busy and we found there was a lot of parking. Would definitely visit again!“

“We are always treated so well here. The service is impeccable. You won’t find nicer staff. They are hustling in there and rarely take time off. The food is delicious, consistent and fresh. If you had a poor experience, I encourage you to try again. Everyone has off days. Or not, more room for me! ❤️“

“Look at this brilliant dish. Not only were they quick and timely in preparing, but it was still fresh and crunchy when the wife brought it home. It's quite uncommon when the product stays so crunchy and was a very pleasant surprise. The flavoring was good without being overbearing.quite a good experience with this style of food. Not our first but possibly the best experience so far.“

“Gamjatang was edible ^^
The kids also enjoyed the Jjajangmyeon.
I went there with high expectations, but I was a bit taken aback because it was my first time seeing a Korean restaurant without any side dishes or kimchi even when ordering the main menu, but it seemed like most of the customers here don't have any experience with Korean food, so they just ate it without knowing it haha.
I don't eat a lot, but the rice comes in a bowl big enough to hold a side dish, and no matter how much you serve it like gobong rice, it's still not enough haha.
I don't think you should compare it to Korean restaurants in Calgary -
If you miss Korean food a lot during your trip, I recommend going there.“
