The Princess house is a little, unfussy restaurant based in a strip mall in west Kelowna. We were seated promptly and although it was not prettiest Chinese restaurant in the area, it was cleaner than a few others in the area. We ordered a won ton soup which was large and good, and a “a” selection of chow mein, sweet and sour pork and breaded shrimp. The shrimp was cooked very nicely but really over breaded. I ordered two meals to go and the food was really good. What I appreciated, it wasn’t full of sodium. I live in Fintry, and by the time I got home there was still steam coming from the food. They use a microwaveable container and it definitely, retains the heat.
Seeing the bad reviews I was skeptical about the food but turns out its freaking amazing! It was fast, the place was clean, they were kind and welcoming. Dont knock it till u try it guys!!
