“We went to Their There for brunch on a weekday, so the place was calm and not too crowded. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which created a comfortable start to the meal. The food itself was tasty and well prepared, although the prices were a little on the higher side for what we ordered. The only part that disappointed me was the coffee. It did not taste fresh and it had a slightly burnt flavor. Overall the experience was nice and the food was enjoyable.“

“Excellent Korean cafe in Vancouver with such delicious eats.
We tried one of the pasta plates and a risotto as well as the beef bulgogi sandwich. We were quite blown away. The food was excellent and very flavourful overall. The risotto was very rich and tasty. The pasta was good as well! The beef bulgogi sandwich was excellent and the flavour of the bulgogi was spot on.
I would come back again, the food was excellent.“

“We had our wedding reception here, let me start off by saying the manager/owner was so sweet, she and her husband were so quick to confirm that we could hold our wedding here. She offered to create a sign for outside the restaurant, always quickly responded to any questions or concerns. They also ordered just for our event extra tables and chairs. The employees/waiters/waitresses here are so sweet and attentive, and for their first experience doing a wedding, I was impressed with how well they adapted to the chaos of at capacity customers and crowds. The magic of the day can not happen without the people behind the scenes hustling to make it special. Waffleland cafe is so beautiful and a sweet gem in the heart of Gastown, we are so lucky to be the first wedding and I just know there will be more. Cute, whimsical, romantic decor made it so easy to add little bits to customize it to our celestial/forest. We were given a little card/gift from the owner and a sweet card that we read as we left the event. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you again Waffleland team!“

“Americano was so strong. Normally I am okay with the taste. Also I wasn’t finish the coffee yet and I was buying pastry, staff just got my coffee before I finish. I wanted to finish with my pastry. It wasn't to much so I didn't say but they should ask before take it. Super clean place and good silent patio.“

“Hopefully this description makes sense: AT Cafe is like being in Asia and going to a Western brunch cafe.
Big menu with brunch classics like pancakes, eggs benny, sandwiches. Anything with waffles is a must try here — the special part is it’s a croissant-waffle so extra yummy. There are also Asian cafe dishes on the menu like ube drinks, BBT, curry, miso soup. Food was fresh, not greasy, overall vibe it was a clean and homey cafe.
We are actually attempting to go to The Story Cafe in Richmond for brunch, but the lineup was too long so we were very happy to have stumbled upon AT café instead. It’s tough to find a brunch spot in Marpole, coming back to Vancouver from Richmond, I will keep them in mind to return to next time we are in the area around brunch or lunchtime.“

“I highly recommend Hunnybee! Wonderful breakfast and brunch options served in a cozy space with an informal and hip vibe. Vancouver’s best breakfast sandwiches and possibly the world’s best ricotta pancakes - they’re to die for. And in the evenings Hunnybee puts on taco and wood fired-pizza nights with a lively atmosphere. Small wonder that the place has a dedicated customer base.“

“Positives
1. The food and coffee were AMAZING!!
2. The atmosphere was inviting and the decore was very simple but so attractive.
Not to Positive
1. We were NEVER asked once if we were doing well. We had one cup of coffee, No one asked if we wanted a refill.
2. Three young staff memembers behind the counter chatting and gighling. The place was almost empty. Not impressed.
3. My sister, has tummy issues and needed the restroom. There was an out of order sign on the public washroom. One staff member allowed 2 young girls to use the staff facilities, but scolded my sister when she needed it. Not impressed.“
