The best restaurant in Vancouver

Had a vegetable dish that was also a salad that was okay - plain - nothing to it. The kabob meat dish was disappointing and I honestly couldn’t eat much of it. Some sort of spongy meat that was maybe minced lamb in the shape of a kabob (tasted poor) and the other a thin tenderloin that was not tender and both sort of cold. Service was poor. The rice was decent. Music was too loud to enjoy a meal and conversation. Bill was $60 excluding tip and although presentation of large platters is impressive- you don’t need the same garnish filler foods on each platter and a lot gets uneaten from what I can see. I would say it’s expensive for the quality.

The food , the presentation and the place all is five star. Such good flavors, also the service was so quick. We ordered lamb shank , the eggplant dip, hummus and veg kebab.

The quantity and quality both were good. Specially the hummus. Also their rice were different from other Persian restaurants but we liked it so much.

The dishes here are massive. Good value. Little squishy when it gets full but the food is worth it.

We have picked up food from this location twice now, and it was absolutely delicious. It was packed very well with the utensils and napkins, and the two women at the counter were very friendly. We have not eaten inside the restaurant, but the atmosphere looks beautiful.! The beach is just a couple of steps away so it's a great location to pick up food and head over to the picnic tables and have a wonderful meal.!!

The koobideh did not have the right texture, or flavour. It seems like there are too much added ingredients such as soy products and onions. Where it felt really soft and not like meat and the flavour of the meat was lost as a result also, and lacked salt.

Great food & service with a lovely atmosphere & upbeat music. We ordered cold & warm appetizers that came out quickly. Our main dishes were large portions & reasonably priced. The baklava wasn't too sweet either, it was just right!

Food was great, large portions. Salad was a bit soggy but the main veggie dish was absolutely delicious. I came in alone and was sized up for service and it wasn’t great so left with a low tip accordingly. A little bit of attention, clearing of dishes and asking how the food is would be basic service for a sit down restaurant. None of that happened.
