I visited here with friends a few weeks back for dinner. As expected, the food was delicious although we saw that the portion sizes for each dish varied. The descriptions for each dish didn't represent this well, resulting in 1-2 friends feeling peckish after having their black cod, stealing a few bites from those who ordered the branzino. The atmosphere was great for conversation over food and drinks.

Unfortunately service was virtually non-existent. While I understand that it can get busy sometimes during the evening at some restaurants, it wasn't busy the night we arrived. Our waiter disappeared shortly after our food arrived and was never seen again. We needed to flag other passing staff a few times because we wanted more drinks but no one came to check on us. Eventually we wanted to leave and ended up having to walk over to the bar just to ask for our bill. The bartender let us know that our server had already left for the day but he'll send someone else over to help us. This was a surprise since our waiter never came back to let us know. We waited another 20 minutes for the new waiter who never arrived. At this point, we had waited over 45 min for the bill and everyone was impatient. We had to directly chase down a staff member to get our bill for us just so we could pay and leave. It was surprising to experience this level of service given the Michelin recommendation for the hotel and our dinner bill was over 4-figures from the food and wine. It was a sore cap to our evening since we stayed much later than expected.

I hope this was a one time occurrence but it was not a good experience for us overall.

What a giant disappointment (on the food side, service was good, but not great). If there was a 2.5 star option would have given it. With prices approaching a Michelin restaurant, all 3 main dishes at our table were terrible (the appetizers, by contrast, I'll say were good). We complained about the Gnocchi because it was inarguably the worst of the 3 main dishes ordered - tasted worse than not fresh, but freezer burned - but the risotto was also undercooked and dry, the seafood sparse, and the taste bland. To the restaurants credit, they comped the Gnocchi. So I thought about sending a private note to management, as it might have been an off night in the kitchen, but it doesn't feel like it, and the entire Four Seasons brand should know that one of their signature restaurants at a signature resort location is putting out food worthy of a Holiday Inn.

Not a tavern anymore. Menu changed and now very overpriced with poor selection of food. If spending this much better to eat at Sidecut or bypass altogether for the pubs /taverns in upper village.

The food was decent at best and service was just the standard. Atmosphere feels just like an average restaurant; nothing really stands out about it. My salad was drenched in sauce and felt more like dressing with a side of salad and the chili was extremely salty. Not to mention that the butter chicken my brother ordered came with crispy Chinese pancakes instead of naan or even pida bread.

The cocktails were decent (but not worth $27), the server team was EXCELLENT—v friendly smart kind caring and attentive, the fire place and table were comfortable, music was ok… but the vegan menu left much to be desired ($39 for gross undercooked chewy “vegan bolognese” with literally shredded Daiya cheese … with the range of vegan cheese available these days like Violife Nuts for Cheese and even Silk Parmesan I honestly expected better from the Four Seasons, especially at this price point. Also the noodles themselves seemed like bad quality noodles. Def not a Made in Italy variety! The dish gave me a stomach ache and indigestion the rest of the night. My friend told me to send it back at that price point but it felt too dramatic). I was truly excited and came to eat there bc of the vegan menu but was seriously underwhelmed with the offerings and so saddened by the pasta. I also was bummed that the prix fixe menu did not give an option for vegans—would have been so easy. My friend ate more food and dishes than me, of higher quality and expense and paid $20 less than me. Even the mixed olives felt like mostly tiny olives with big pits, some jarred olives and a lot of cocktail onions mini pickles and little red peppers to take up space for $15! I would suggest going here only for the prix fixe and not bothering if you’re vegan! 🌱 can’t believe with one drink I paid $115 for this lol

I dined at Braidwood three times on my trip to Whistler. The breakfast is excellent, and the serving sizes are generous. However, the prices are steep. If you don’t have breakfast included with your room, it might be worth it to look elsewhere in the area. The omelet was fantastic, and with the side of bacon, I received 11 slices. A bit excessive, but I’ll take it. For dinner I got the seared salmon. The skin was nice and crispy, but not much flavor all the way around. The texture of the rice was also strange. They didn’t have any gluten-free desserts, but they were able to get the menu from the neighboring fine dining restaurant Sidecut for me. The 20-layer cake was disappointing though. You can’t cut a cake into 20 slices and call it a 20-layer cake. Service was excellent throughout my visits!

Nothing less than impeccable service, food quality and quantity. This restaurant continues to maintain Four Seasons standards and truly cares about guest experience. This is demonstrated by recognition of return guests. Low staff turnover is a good sign for such an establishment.

We dined several times at the Braidwood Tavern during our stay at the Four Seasons and had a great experience each time. The main menu had several vegetarian options and we also tried some of the items from their full vegan menu. They have full high chairs with trays, crayons and paper, and the kids menu was great. The staff was always attentive and we enjoyed eating both inside and outside.

Just tried the new Tide to Table menu, and it’s seriously amazing! The oysters were super fresh and delicious. But the real star was the Black Cod in coconut sauce—so good! The fish was perfectly cooked, and the sauce was just the right amount of rich and flavorful. Definitely worth checking out!

Such a let down. So expensive. Such slow service. Food came out so slow. Food was not hot.

They have a seafood only menu which was to be frank weird. We all ordered off the bar menu.

Food was tasty but not worth the $120/p for 6 people with just one beer each.

Each time we got food, we had no utensils. Servers put food down each time at the wrong spot.

Servers looked like they had never served food before.

And they added 18% gratuities to the bill automatically. Outrageous. No wonder the service was so poor.

What a shame. Shame on Four Seasons.

Def won’t be back nor will I recommend.

Delightful breakfast buffet - something for everyone. With all of your typical breakfast foods plus healthy and innovative non-typical fresh dishes. Service even though buffet was exceptional - such happy pleasant staff!

lowk wasn’t good we were sat down and took 30 minutes to literally get menus like what the flip had to ask for menus three times which is ridiculous. i had ordered food at the same time yet mine came out after everyone had already finished we got there at 5:30 and were seated, then got menus at around 6:30 then everyone’s food came at like 7:05 and i got mine at 7:30 and it was so mid. personally wouldnt come again as i like to go to a restaurant where you dont have to ask for a menu multiple times and where your food actually comes out and you dont have to ask where it is multiple times. we got it for free because of the ridiculous wait but like took insane amount of time. live music was fire tho

Anything at the Four Seasons Resort in Whistler is always fabulous and the Braidwood is no different! We went yesterday for their Thursday night La Dolce Vita Patio Italian Buffet. It was so lovely! The atmosphere is beautiful, live music and food selection was amazing. So enjoyed myself
