Great fall seasonal promo dinner for $60/00. This is the usual fall promo during shoulder season

Food was very average, not worth the prices. Service was fast, but not very friendly. The Keg would have been better.

It was just OK. Food came out very quickly and felt like everything had been precooked some what. I don't plan on ever going back to this location. Nothing special considering the prices.

Excellent food combined with excellent service. And the noise level was low -- in contrast to some other (steak) restaurants

We were visiting Whistler during Crankworkz and were able to walk in without a reservation. We were greeted as if one of the family! Wait staff made the experience really something special. Food was excellent. So glad our bear guide made such a good recommendation! Cocktails are on a whole new level too. Highly recommend.

We celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary at Hy’s Steakhouse and had an amazing evening. Even without a reservation, the team graciously fit us in, which we really appreciated. Our server, Laura, was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and thoughtful throughout the night. The food was exceptional and the atmosphere perfect for a special occasion. Highly recommend Hy’s in Whistler for anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience.

Cheese toast was amazing. The jumbo scallops were a joke. Tasty but over priced and barely the size of bay scallops. Our server seemed to be all about the upsell. Steak was good as expected but the prices are ridiculous won't be back

Hy’s Steakhouse in Whistler gave us such a memorable evening! From the moment we sat down, we felt so well taken care of. Our server, Rich, was phenomenal – warm, attentive, and so knowledgeable. He made the night feel like a true celebration. The food was incredible (easily the 2nd best dinner we’ve ever had in our lives!) – the steaks were cooked perfectly, and the tableside service added such a special touch. Every detail was above and beyond our expectations. If you’re looking for the perfect place for a romantic date night or a special occasion, Hy’s is an absolute must.

Have had steaks at would be considered high end, I found Hy's to be surprisingly average. It can high recommended and the food was just ok. Very heavy hand with the salt and the sides were forgettable. The cook on the steak was good. Otherwise, a very forgettable meal. The server we had also seemed very uninterested.

I have been a fan of this steak house for years. I would recommend this to all my friends who travel to Whistler. What I found out on Thursday evening is that this quintessential steak house has completely lost its way. I understand that things can go wrong from time to time but reading all the reviews it’s clear there is a major kitchen and management issue that needs immediate attention. You CANNOT have the Hy’s banner on your front door with this type of food quality and service. How can these poor reviews continue to go on month after month. Micheal Kyle simply copy pastes his replies to all complaints and it’s clear nothing changes. Honestly, just get it fixed. I’m extremely upset to have paid 330$ for two people without alcohol and eating overcooked dry meat. Anyone reading this Please read all the reviews and you’ll understand why you should avoid this page and go to Side cut at the Four Seasons. Proper service excellent quality better price.
