The culinary experience at The Chalet and Clubhouse is truly exceptional. The delightful combination of the exquisite cheese fondue and the delectable schnitzel is nothing short of fantastic. The cheese fondue, crafted with carefully selected cheeses, offers a lush and creamy texture that will captivate any food enthusiast. As for the schnitzel, the perfect balance between crispy exterior and juiciness inside makes it a culinary masterpiece. The kitchen here clearly knows how to perfect the authentic flavor of schnitzel, making every bite a delight. Whether you're a gastronomy aficionado or simply seeking an unforgettable taste adventure, The Chalet and Clubhouse's cheese fondue and schnitzel form an irresistible duo that enchants the senses. A true treat for the taste buds in an environment as refined as the menu itself.
This is our third visit to the chalet at the fairmont. Love the experience, this time the service was not quite the same. To be fair this is a beautiful spot and we love having the fondue. We just didn't expect to only have bread and beef when usually there is an option to have a mixture of meat and fish. The option for the later was maybe glossed over by our server. When we questioned this she seemed annoyed. It's a lot of money to spend on a meal. It was a shame that it was not explained properly.
We love the food and the ambience at the chalet. Unfortunately, our service was a little bit less professional than we have typically experienced. We were left for long intervals without anyone coming to our table to check to see if we wanted water or anything else.
La comida muy bien el fondue y el rosti deliciosos asi como la sopa de cebolla. El servicio deja mucho que desear. Lento y lo que le sigue. Hasta para pedir agua hubo que pedirla 4 veces. Todo muy muy lento pero la comida bien
We were seated at 5:30pm. There were only a handful of tables seated at this point. Starters arrived in reasonable time. We then waited over an hour for our fondue. Our waiter explained, unapologetically, that the kitchen is small. Perhaps they should book fewer tables if the kitchen.. The highlight was the chocolate fondue which arrived quickly. Summary: Don't waste your time or money.
We made a reservation for a late breakfast, but there were almost no other tables seated during our visit. Food was very enjoyable, although service was a bit slower at some times. The restaurant was much more casual then we were expecting based on how the restaurant is listed on Open Table. Very good experience overall.
Overpriced club food. For the Fairmont you would expect better. A classic egg and meat breakfast came with tater tots, would have been a lot better with real potatoes. “Espresso machine was down”, so drip coffee and tea were the only options for caffeinated beverages. The Earl grey tea was surprisingly bad. The golf course looked gorgeous.
The club house was the starting point for our walk. There are bears to be seen as you walk down the fairway, but we weren’t lucky. The stream in the middle has a huge collection of golf balls, some look very old, could do with a clean out
Love this place the team working here are amazing and the food is delicious. Highly recommend. The only thing I would change is the Bavarian themed music which once you start to hear it's hard to not hear, even if you try really hard.
Incredibly delicious meal from appetizers to desserts! The mushroom toast was outstanding, the cheese fondue creamy and filling, so much steak we couldn't finish it, and the chocolate dessert decadent!
We dined here on 3-14-23 and we were disappointed in our seating arrangements staring out at a pile of Firewood. The wait time for our food was long and our server rarely checked back with us. I will not be dining here again. The food was so -so and overpriced.
Great experience. Did the Fondue Experience and the quality of the food was excellent. The courses were not rushed and we felt that we had plenty of time to relax and enjoy. Staff was very friendly and service was very good.
Excellent fondue experience. A bit pricy but well worth it. Beautiful location and a memorable meal made to be shared and enjoyed together. Don't forget to scrape the caramélisés cheese off the pot at the end!
Wine list very limited. When I did pick a bottle they were out of that particular wine. A little disappointing. Service a bit slow but they looked understaffed. Actual server was very pleasant.
Always fun to share fondue with the special people in our lives. Service was excellent. Happy to have the team call the car to return back to the fairmont on the super super cold night!
