We normally go here for breakfast or brunch, bit recently discovered they do BBQ on the weekends for dinner. 1st off let me say this place is a great value for breakfast or lunch, away from the noise of the village, tou will never leave hungry or disappointed. The award willing BBQ was delicious, we tried all the meat options as well as all the side options & cleaned our plates. Personally I tried the ribs & they had me lickimg my fingers afterwards, I cant wait to have them again.
I would totally recommend this place if you are looking for a great meal at an equally great price. We will be back both for brunch & for BBQ.

I love Wildwood for a peaceful spot to hang out, study or work whilst enjoying friendly, down to earth service and delicious food in generous portions. Props to server Erin for her on point menu recommendations and the kitchen staff for always having food out swiftly.

Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant recently was disappointing. The food was low quality, and the service was poor. The short waitress who served us smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, which made our dining experience unpleasant. She was also very rude anytime she came to our table. Visiting this restaurant was the only poor experience we had in Whistler so I strongly recommend not coming here.

Visited this restaurant with my family for the first time due to the promising reviews. As I was sitting down at a table with my baby, a short server with a ponytail approached and asked me if I had ordered yet (to which I had not), and after I said no, the server rudely said, “You need to order first, then sit down. You can’t just sit down at a table without ordering first. Does that make sense?”. How incredibly awful to treat customers this way without even receiving any sort of greeting or clear explanation, let alone any signage on the door to indicate the ordering procedure here. I would avoid this place. Food is nothing special either.

One of the last true local spots with awesome food and more of a rustic atmosphere! The breakfast… is awesome (banana french toast - recommendation) but if you get the chance the BBQ food is award winning and one of if not the best! Smash!
The staff (Erin, Gina and Julian) always chatty and there for more than just service! Super nice wholesome vibes with real people who live here long term!
Please come visit if you are from out of town.
Yes you need to order at the counter and it’s less conventional than serve from your table. Looking at reviews below. Get over yourself!
Bob you have a great team with awesome food. Hats off to you guys!

My favourite place to grab lunch. No matter what I order I always order a crab bisque soup and it’s just perfection

Bad first impression. We were visiting Whistler and heard great things about this place.
We did not know about this word of mouth system they have in place where you order first THEN find seats.
We had a group of 6 with a baby and assumed we could seat ourselves first then order. Again, there is no obvious signage or anything stating we had to order first then find seats.
One of the short workers with a ponytail rudely told us we have to order first and then find seats. Then, after lining up and when we were about to order, the short ponytail woman told the server at the register to not take our order and brew coffee first. While dining, we also noticed the short ponytail girl asking every other table if they were alright. She did not check on our tables at all.
Our other server was great and seemed to care about the patrons, but the girl with the ponytail plainly ruined the whole dining experience. I’m sure if you’re a local with a small group in whistler familiar with their system, this place is nice. But if you’re from outside of town, I would go elsewhere for breakfast food.

A good friend mentioned, as first-time visitor to the Whistler area, to stop by here for breakfast.
5 stars for the coffee.
2 stars for the food, which arrived cold to the table.
And 1 star for the staff which exuded contempt, and a blatant “I could care less if you’re here, and even less if you’re happy with your dining experience”.
Just pass on this one. There’s lots of places in the area happy to serve you with a smile.
