The Food was very good, had the jumbo prawns and mussels and clams for appetizers and seafood linguine and scallops for dinner, the food was very good. The staff seemed overwhelmed by the amount of people coming in and alot of people had to wait and our waitress was slow and we had to wait frequently. It could have just been because they were busy, it is very loud when the restaurant is full.
Very fresh ingredients. Excellent dishes with lots of flavour. Very friendly, non pretentious service which is what we look for! The desserts were just as good. I wish they had more local wines on the menu.
We have been looking for a go to restaurant since the Boathouse closed and decided to try Five. The greeting was very friendly and we were quickly seated in a nice booth. It is a little tight for 4 people but really OK. Zena handled our table and did a fabulous job with good timing and not afraid to participate with a bit of humour. We are always concerned about timing because too many restaurants want to rush your meal so we asked for "no rush" and Zena timed the meal...
