The best option for casual eats along the White Rock Beach!! The clam chowder is solid, the burgers are exceptional and there are always fun specials as options.

First time dining at Uli's and it was lovely! We sat outside on the patio on a cool November evening but the space heaters made it very comfortable. Our server was outstanding and provided great suggestions on a wine bottle and an appetizer. My only disappointment was my tenderloin steak. It was cooked perfectly but the quality was underwhelming. We lingered beyond the suggested 90 minutes but never felt rushed to depart. I will return but won't order the steak.
I was quite disappointed with the quality of the food. The dish included large pieces of chicken and sausage, but only one scallop, a very small piece of shrimp, and a mussel that had an unpleasant smell. For the price and the reputation, the overall quality was far below expectations. It’s disheartening to see so many positive reviews for such a poorly prepared dish. I truly hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and improves both ingredient quality and overall standards.

The most overrated Paella I have ever experienced - and I thought what we had in Barcelona was not good. I remember when Wayne was the Uli's chef many, many years ago and produced one of the best Paellas. It was the feature dish that Ulis relied on. Now you have to be satisfied with an expensive, over abundance of saffron rice with minimal Italian chorizo (if that is what it is) sausage, frozen tasteless shrimp, chicken lumps and an overall taste that is easy to forget. No fresh fish, no prawns, no flavour - where did it all go?. What a shame that people fall for this only because there is no alternative in White Rock. It looks good on a menu but......Now Joey's on Broadway has the market cornered for Paella quality, taste and cost. If you are a Paella enthusiast, don't settle for rubbish.

I have to say I am very disappointed. I came in with a group of 25-30 women. My happy hour chardonnay was quite sour and had a bit of a taste of vinegar. Also, when everyone was eating I just sat there waiting for my appetizer. I'm not sure what happened with my order, but my waitress couldn't care less. When she finally bring it she put it down in front of me on top of the drink menu she hadn't taken yet. My plate sat there lopsided and I had to ask her to take it away. Very unorganized. Tip was included in the bill, but I do jot feel it was deserved. Disappointing 😞
