Arby's Launches Celebrity Sauce Collaboration with Comedy Duo
Arby's is bringing star power to its menu this spring with help from comedians Anthony Anderson and Cedric The Entertainer. The fast-food chain known for its meaty offerings has partnered with the duo to introduce two new barbecue sandwiches, and signature sauces developed by the comedians themselves.
The limited-time menu features a Quarter Pound Brisket Sandwich with 13-hour slow-smoked brisket and a Quarter Pound Pulled Pork Sandwich with hickory-smoked pork. Both sandwiches come with garlicky dill pickles on toasted sesame seed buns, starting at $5.99, and will be available through June.
The new sauces are created by Anderson and Cedric through their AC Barbeque brand. Cedric's Sweet Bussin Brown Sugar Sauce delivers "a sweet and tangy flavor profile from its blend of slow-cooked brown sugar that develops malt and caramel flavors as it simmers." For those who prefer some heat, Anthony's Spicy Chipotle Smoke Sauce brings "a smoky, spicy kick" from chipotle peppers that pairs well with both sandwiches.

This isn't Arby's first celebrity collaboration. Last year, the chain released "Chardonneigh's Horsey Sauce" during the Kentucky Derby, playing off Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter album. They also worked with actor Kyle MacLachlan to promote the return of their Potato Cakes.
The new offerings align with two big trends in fast food: creative sauces and celebrity team-ups. Many chains have been introducing new sauces as a way to add fresh flavors without major menu overhauls. Meanwhile, celebrity collaborations have become increasingly popular, from McDonald's Angel Reese Special featuring a smokey barbecue sauce to Taco Bell's team-up with pastry chef Christina Tosi.

For Anderson and Cedric, this partnership grows their AC Barbeque brand, which they founded "on the principles of Black excellence, family tradition and bringing people together." The company offers rubs, sauces, and merchandise, with their first restaurant location coming soon to Beverly Hills.
Arby's operates more than 3,500 restaurants across the country as part of Atlanta-based Inspire Brands.
