Slice House Pizza Chain Expanding to Tennessee

Tony Gemignani's fast-casual pizza chain Slice House is coming to Tennessee. The San Francisco-based company just signed a deal to open 11 new locations across the state, with the first ones slated to open in 2025.

"Franklin, Nashville, and Memphis are all areas that are perfect for our brand. We are excited to bring great pizza to these areas," Gemignani told the Memphis Business Journal.

Slice House serves up Italian-style pizzas in various styles, along with pasta dishes, salads, wings and more. "We are proud to have an experienced franchise partner on-board for the long term and look forward to offering our authentic, award-winning pizza to Tennesseans," said Gemignani.

The new Tennessee locations will be Slice House's first in the Southeast region. The chain currently has about 10 restaurants open, mostly in California and Nevada, plus 25 licensed locations like at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Gemignani is renowned as an eight-time World Champion Pizza Acrobat and has set records like tossing the largest pizza base. His franchise now has 120 units either open or in development across several states.

"Slice House’s newest deal in Tennessee represents a significant milestone for the national franchise as we extend our footprint to the Southeast," Gemignani said. The company expects to sign deals for 75 more restaurants by the end of 2024 to expand further across the country.

Slice House and chicken chain Pollo Campero both seem to view Tennessee as a sweet spot for expansion, with Pollo Campero also announcing plans to open at least 25 new locations there and nationwide in 2024.
