“I've been to most of the places in town that serve beef barbecue. Dog house Grill, The Meat Market, etc. Chuck's Barbecue has by far, the BEST beef barbecue and potato salad. And their banana pudding is excellent, although not on my list to buy due to its price. But I wasn't disappointed in the quality of the product. It was big enough for me to share so that helped. I highly recommend Chuck's Barbecue for your barbecue beef needs!!“

“You can’t call ahead for food here you have to order in person either at the counter inside or the outdoor window. The tri-tip is excellent, and the sides are just as good. You’ve got two great options: walk into the market for fresh produce, groceries, and marinated meats to grill at home, or head to the outside window for hot meals ready to eat or take to go. There’s also a patio if you want to sit down and enjoy it right there. It was a little warm the day I went, so I grabbed my order to go and enjoyed a delicious meat market.“

“When it comes to BBQ, my expectations are always high. If it be ribs, tri tip, pulled pork, or brisket.

My wife was treating the family and wanted a tri tip sandwich. Our go to shop was closed and this spot immediately came to mind.

Made the order, picked it up and headed home. Didn't know what the experience would be like until I took a piece out the sandwich and chucked it in my mouth.

My taste buds were really enjoying the full, seasoned and smokey flavor. I must say, I never had a tri tip sandwich where they chopped the meat. Not bad at all.

The whole family loved every bite. I can't wait to go back and try something else. Whatever you guys are doing, keep doing it. You got something special going on.

Hogg Pitt BBQ is legit and are serious about putting out and serving great, delicious, mouthwatering, taste bud satisfying, gut filling bbq. Definitely get 5 stars. Service was excellent too. My expectations were exceeded.

“I drove from Vallejo to try this place and boy was I disappointed. starting with the 90$ meal, the meat was so dry I could not even eat it The pulled pork tasted like sawdust, the ribs were dry,and the brisket and tri tip are horrible. the potato salad was very loose, and the green beans were burnt, had I lived in the area I would have brought it all back. fix the issues word of mouth can truly hurt your business. because I am writing this review on multiple sights.“

“I have good news and bad news..good news, Chicken wings, by God they were delicious especially sweet spicy. There noodles with veggie were better than a lot of places I have eaten at! The bad news was well did a ' to go' order for the Bulgogi it was a very small portion. Maybe that was a mistake but for $20, it was about the size of a small butter container. Im greatful to have found this place for the wings and noodles but their is always room for improvement and I appreciate the dedication the chef puts in his food. The food is consistently good and you get a lot of food for the cost.

Fun trivia, when you get there, look over the doorway to the kitchen. The drawing of the dragon was done by my father and given to the owner.

“I've only been twice but both times I was happy with the food and the customer service.
The smothered chicken and rice &gravy was soooo delicious. The catfish was fire the BBQ ribs were too. Im picky about my side, so for me personally I would stick with the French fries..oh yeah, don't forget about the classic yellow cake with chocolate frosting.. overall good experience and I would return.“
