Hot Box BBQ Reviews
1st timer, I've heard good things about this place! Grandson insisted he wanted a Grilled Cheese Brisket Sandwich for his birthday. So I tried one today, off the hook, with tender smoked brisket, with Mac & cheese, on inside toasted bread wow 😋
can't wait to try their Brisket burrito & Texas twinkies (they were out) next time!

Hot Box BBQ, a hidden gem near a Valero gas station in Fresno, serves perfectly smoked and well-seasoned barbecue. The menu offers a variety of options, including ribs, brisket, tri-tip, and chicken, as well as special items like loaded fries, brisket sandwiches, and mac & cheese. The head cook, Israel, has years of experience and a unique cooking style, ensuring juicy, flavorful meats and delicious homemade barbecue sauce. The friendly and welcoming staff make it a great spot for anyone seeking tasty barbecue dishes. Prices are reasonable, with the loaded fries and tri-tip totaling $19 and additional items like chips and a drink bringing the total to $25. While the dining area is limited, the quality of the food more than makes up for it, as customers have described the brisket, hot links, and mac & cheese as exceptional. The owner, Estevan, is known for his personable and welcoming demeanor, further enhancing the dining experience.
