“Went to Porterville today decided to stop and get something to eat looking for barbecue in the area so I stopped here at Anvil to see how their barbecue taste. I ordered the pork rib dinner with beans and chips. The beans are really good and the ribs were made just how I like them had really good flavor. I can taste the smoke and the type of wood they were using. Was impressed by the flavor and the texture. The inside decorations Where wood tables with a brand on them. There was stuff out that looked like they do catering events, or getting ready to do a catering event.“

“A nice, cozy, Hawaiian themed restaurant with friendly staff and good food. It can get a little pricy at times.

The staff are usually helpful, but the girl with glasses is very nice and extremely helpful. She has been very friendly and I very highly doubt she’d ever be rude to a customer. She helps pick out plates, is very patient, and is very competent. The workers go above and beyond when they can!

The food is good, though it can vary from time to time. It’s usually good, but sometimes it’s excellent.“
