“Traveling by myself out of town I happened upon this bar. Just walking by I could tell it looked like my kind of place. It was a Friday night and the bar was full and most tables were occupied. I debated leaving but something about this bar made we want to stay. I ordered a drink and stood awkwardly in the middle of the bar. A few minutes later a bartender (who I later learned was the owner) came over and said he had made a seat for me at the bar. Are you serious??? That has never happened to me before in a bar. I settled in to my seat and was immediately greeted by 2 women sitting next to me. They were so sweet and we chatted about random things. The Dj was starting to play and I knew I had found my new favorite bar. I had to buy some merchandise so I can rep The Fifth back in Michigan. Big shout out to the owner, employees and customers. You made this girl from the Mitten feel right at home. Keep doing what you are doing!“

“Edit: I wrote my review before reading others. I have to say the portions are normal for this type of food, as I've said Iove & eat this often. I learned the servers and family, hence the family feel. Walking into this place for over 20 years, it finally feels like a place to enjoy. Since theyve been open less than 6 months, I give them time to add to the walls and create a personal touch that's more family feel.

I love Mediterranean food, and this place was great! I had the chicken and got both rices (pilaf & yellow) i was surprised to like the yellow more... so tasty! My date had the burger (that's not a burger, but meat in a pita) and garlic fries. The garlic fries are the best I've had: you know, garlic but not too much that you cant eat a lot of it... these were perfect! And for dessert, you have to try the Kanefe... in person since it's served warm. The fine texture of the shredded phyllo elevated the taste and the fine texture! Sorry no pics, I was too focused on eating... guess I just have to go back again soon for pictures! 5 stars all the way ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“We love Old Town Clovis and like to patronize businesses downtown. But we had a horrible experience at Old Town Clovis Cafe. Old Town Clovis Cafe 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND! Check in to be seated They take our name - 25 minutes Tell us we can’t wait inside so we sit at a table right outside of the door Watch two other groups of three go through same process At 20 minutes we watch a couple go in and not come out Tom goes in to check where we are on the list The person that took our name, that told us to wait outside, tells my husband that she called our name and we didn’t answer He asked “so you called it in here?” “Yes” “But you told us to wait outside” “Yes you can’t wait in here” “You called our name in here and we are outside?” “Yes. I don’t go outside to call names” We started to sit down in a booth anyway but decided that we couldn’t stay As we are leaving she asks if we weren’t staying and Tom informed them that we couldn’t eat somewhere that treated customers like that.“

“I have been coming here for ten years! The food is the best in town. Not frozen. Always freshly made. With that said service is a small mom and pop ran place. The food is fresh so it takes a little longer. They work really hard here. There take out is busy too.“

“This place is a Fresno staple, the owner was the executive chef for El Cid and then started his own restaurant. Building on the solid traditional Mexican food he has always made, he added the seafood experience you might find on the Mexican coast, the upscale atmosphere and a happy hour value that is the best in the valley.“

“This place is really nice. Large Booth tables. I wish I would have taken more photos inside the restaurant. It has good lighting. Low volume on the noise, so it's easy to carry a conversation.

The staff were great and funny. I ordered a New York steak and chicken breast. I'm on the carnivore diet so can't have sauces and or sugars let alone any vegetables. Food was delicious.
