“Tom catered our wedding 5 years ago. Our guests were all raving about the food and going back for seconds and thirds. His portions were so generous we had a ton of leftover food. The pulled pork was absolutely heavenly! Very professional and he pulled up smoking the meat still which made my venue smell divine! “This place was quite a surprise! The style and decor is fun and makes you feel like you've entered a different time. We attended earlier in the day and there were more people dining and at the bar then I thought there would be. Although it didn't seem like the best place for a one year old, he seemed to enjoy looking around at everything and he ate everything that he came across. The good was delicious and the specials were incredible. I actually can't wait to go back.“

“When I ate at Hoggs Gourmet Grill, I was blown away by the flavors of their meats, sides and especially the deep-fried green beans. Everything was prepared perfectly. The restaurant was clean and the staff very responsive to our large party. 5 stars!!“

“Tropical Southern BBQ catered a union dinner meeting for me on Tuesday, 6/3/25. The food was delicious. My members can’t stop talking about how good the food was and to make sure we order from them again. The price was very reasonable and they set everything up buffet style for us. They provided more than enough utensils, plates, and napkins for everyone. I will definitely be using their services again.“

“As soon as you start to approach you can smell the aroma as if it’s luring you in! I love the beans and the brisket the most and if had a complaint it would be that the portions are a bit underwhelming but the taste is on the money. Even though the portions are on the smaller side this is definitely a places I’d “waste” my money on!!! Treat yourself one and a while.“

“Workers are very helpful and friendly, I can take my time slow in the morning, not to selection of meats in freezer area, maybe the butcher part of the store don't need never go over there, always stocked, only problem is if the day of the sales are on Wednesday, and I in the morning at " Opening " they say there out of the things on sale...ALL OF THEM", but I'm the first person here how can that be, then the management says come back in the noontime, so "I" come back and nothing!, next day " nothing ", this has happened 4 times, why fo your costumers in order to get them to come to the market? but other then it's clean, organized establishment.“

“Pretty dang good food. Price point is a little high tho if I'm being honest. I got the #15 and a side of shrimp rolls and it was 28 bucks. It would have been enough to share but even at 15 bucks a head that's pretty expensive in my eyes. I don't think I will be a frequent flyer but I would definitely eat again if someone else was buying.“

“The burgers are amongst the best burgers in the area in my opinion. The cheese is always melted, the burger is fresh, and I never had old or wilted lettuce from here and it’s always fresh just for your order. The fries can use a bit more salt but I always just ask for some on the side. I can barely finish the food due to the heavy portions they give. The guy at the front is always ready to take your order and the service is great!“

“Interesting concept of BBQ, stockpile food but a chef cooks it for you. No choice in how the meat/veggies is cooked, mostly medium-well done. When it's busy there can be a bottleneck of people waiting for their food to be cooked. Decor is nice. Most points go to being one of the most affordable AYCE, very good if your main goal is sustenance!“

“Dickeys Barbecue Pit Restaurant located in Yucaipa California is a great place to get your favorite smoked chicken,beef,pork,ribs and more! They smoke their meats on premises and the portions are very generous! We had the brisket sandwich with onions,pickles all on a fresh steamy bun! Super fresh and tasty! The serve yourself soft serve ice cream really finished a great barbeque meal!“

“Most of the time the BBQ beef, rice and macaroni salad are very good. So maybe they have changed or added a cook because tonight it wasn't up to par. Meat wasn't cut as thin and was a little touch. Also, portion was more cabbage than meat. Some minor adjustments and I could give it the usual five stars. Thank you for your great food!“

“Im from the bay area and tofu stew/galbi is one of my favorite meals to have. Im very picky/food sensitive and have to try a lot of places to find one that's just right, and unexpectedly this was that place. It beats alllll the korean tofu stew places back in San Jose for me so im shocked it doesnt seem to be a hit with other asian college students & families in Riverside (or maybe i just visit during slow days/hours lol).

They offer combo meal options which is the perfect portion for me if i add a second bowl of rice. Now I dont have to pay $40-50 bucks ordering full portion tofu stew + LA galbi that i cant even finish :') the galbi is never dry or hard to chew, the rice is delicious (very important), they seldom mess up any changes i request to my stew, the prices are fair... love it.

Ive never seen more than one, maybe two waiters working at a time so sometimes u might have to wait a lil bit to ask for something especially if there's other customers, but they're all super nice and do a great job considering they're, yknow, one person.

Im going to miss this restaurant real bad when i move back home after graduating this year.“
