My first time eating there; I see it often as I pass by on my bike. Loved the country potatoes with my eggs benedict. Not gonna lie I thought it was a bit pricey but certainly worth it. I may have to have breakfast there once in a while. I love the atmosphere and the friendly service. I would certainly recommend it.
We visited Alameda in April to attend a celebration of life for a family member that we lost suddenly. Our family was in town from all over the country, and we found Cafe Jolie Petit near our hotel. They took such great care of us, fed us meals on three or four consecutive days, and we could not have asked for better service or food during an emotional time. Right in the middle of the bustling West End business district there is a little slice of Parisian beauty and flavor. The space is beautiful and bright and there is plenty of seating indoors and out. A good wine list and great coffee options are on tap. Enjoy!
