Super spacious! The restaurant has low light setting and modern look, the service could be a bit faster, esp when there were only 2 tables. The best part of this place was the bottomless cantoritos!! We ordered tostaditas de langosta, aguachile and birria chicken wings. The birria wings were pretty salty, and the breading was pretty heavy with the sauce on the outside. The aguachile was so good and spicy!

I usually let these things go but the owner was rude and inconsiderate about my order I never received. Told me to make my complaints elsewhere and disregarded what I paid for and did not receive.

Attended a company party and overall the experience was pretty good. The bartender (forgot his name) and the host I believe her name was Jasmine were both extremely helpful and welcoming. Bartender especially was a great guy. Atmosphere was really cool, great vibes, solid dj, and everyone raved about their drinks especially the paloma’s.Only issues were the guy running the taco bar was rude to myself and a couple guests as well as the food quality. Multiple of our staff (even the ones who didn’t drink at all) were sick all day today including myself. We spent 5k on the evening and was somewhat let down even though it was still a solid night.

To be honest, this spot did not live up to the hype and I'm surprised it's made it this long on park st considering all the negativity about it.Food is pretty but not great, drinks are meh, service is alright, music is always much too loud even inside. And the pricing, ooof... definitely not worth it. Really wanted to like it but for sure won't be back with those prices.

They have a good food selection, I order a guacamole and chips to start off. The guac was really good nice presentation it came in the Lava rock( molcajete). The red pozole was really good, the camarones a la diabla was spicy it had a lot of flavor. The street tacos were okay. The tamales were okay not a lot of flavor. The flan with Kahlua was really good. The churros with the caramel dipping sauce was really good.

Terrible experience! Such a shame since we loved the bottomless drink prices they offer during the week/weekend. Waiter was very inattentive our table had to flag down a different waiter to send our waiter over to order food after being seated an hour ago. Finally ordered, group ordered: fajitas, taco plate, and tacos de papa. My two friends receive their food, as I still waited for my order. waited another 5 mins before I flagged another server letting her know that I haven’t received my order. The lady then sent over our waiter to repeat the missing order. He stated he’d check the kitchen, never once apologized for the mistake. Waiter comes back and say they don’t have tacos de papa and if I want to order something else. Mind you they aren’t busy at all for them to drop the ball like this, they lacked to replace the order in a timely manner and the communication level between kitchen and server was inadequate. I ended up ordering the taco plate and waiter said he’d comp it, which was very nice of him, and didn’t expect that. But the remainder of the time the waiter was no where to be found again. We flagged down another a different waiter for a margarita refill for my friend. The whole experience pissed me off! Our table gave him the benefit of the doubt the whole time to change the experience, not once did her step it up.Food was not bad but also was nothing special. There’s better Mexican food places out there with outstanding service. What turned this into I will never return situation is, Our table didn’t like the behaviors of the waiter inattentiveness for just basic table service, therefore we didn’t tip. At least do the bare minimum and there would have been a tip. He was upset that we didn’t tip that as we exit the restaurant in Spanish he told the bartender out loud “ they didn’t tip.” As he rolled his eyes, Knowing damn well I spoke Spanish. & yes I stand by not tipping, I’ve had better service at Applebees than this.I hope it’s a wake up call for him but the entire experience didn’t sit well. Don’t let this discourage you from trying the restaurant but expect poor quality service if you do so.

I had a fantastic experience at Capullo Cocina Mexicana. The customer service I received was truly exceptional. Joanie, the bartender, went above and beyond to make my visit enjoyable. Made an amazing Michelada . Also had a great interaction with one of the waiter Artuio. Not only did they provide excellent service, but our conversation was engaging and enjoyable. I ended up learning a lot on the various options for non alcoholic beverages. A definite go to for a wonderful dining experience.

Tacos and drinks were amazing! Staff was welcoming, the vibes were great, music was enjoyable. Space was clean, had a good time at this place: stop by to see how you’ll like it.Kid-friendliness: Yes, our children were able to enjoy their time there with us. Which was amazing!!!

My niece celebrated her 20th birthday, in which they had a private room for her. The drinks were bomb but the food was just okay. I would come back for the margaritas but not the food.

Lobster Tostadas were delicious!! I will be back for those! The chorizo appetizer was lovely as well.

Did take out for a burrito bowl and the birria torta. The birria torta is described as being served with cilantro and onion and cheese as well as the birria broth. The torta was really flavorless and so was the broth. It was in heavy need of cilantro And onion but only came with literally 5-6 pieces on the whole entire sandwich. See the pic. Also got a chicken protein bowl and all of the chicken tasted like it was from the freezer. Really terrible and low quality ingredients. I wouldn't come back unfortunately.

Staff and Service:- Came here on a Saturday at 12:00 and got seated right away for a group of 3- This restaurant has two rooms for seating, as well as outdoor seating Food and Drinks:- On Saturdays, you can order bottomless mimosas or Cantaritos for 90 minutes for $20!- Taco Birria Plate: comes with three birria tacos and hot sauce. The tortilla was crispy, the meat and cheese were filling, and the hot sauce was good. The consome wasn't as good as I've had at other places - Chilaquiles: large plate with plenty of chips and a side of black beans - Guacamole: enough to share with two people, unless three people have other things to eat Miscellaneous: - Parking is available via street parking - Three bathrooms located in the back of the restaurant - Every day has a different theme with days (I.e. Tuesday is Taco Tuesday, Saturday is bottomless, etc.)

Very nice place as far as atmosphere and aesthetics. First time in Alameda, we enjoyed our time their thanks to a few El Patron cocktails and Mezcalita cocktails. This place is on the pricey side. We ordered a lot of food. We ordered 3 appetizers, 5 cocktails and two main dishes and dessert. That ran us about $250 dollars. My boy friend ordered the mocajete because we looked at their photos online but when we received it, it was pretty skimmpy (half full). I'll post a picture so you can see what I mean. The appetizers such as the guacamole with chips, ceviche with chips and auga de chile with chips ALL could have used some salt on it. The flan was lacking flavor, otherwise we had good service and a good time.

The Birria tacos were good! Came with consume and some salsa picante, my friend had a Capullo taco plate. It had 4 tacos, carnitas, pastor, pollo and asada, I tasted the pastor and it was ok. I forgot the bartender name but he was real good, friendly. We also had some tequila but we were being cheap and ordered the cheapest one ??. I would go here again and try some more items.
