I stopped in the other day to get 2 bagels and a small tub of cream cheese. The price was $10, which I thought was high for baked goods. When I got home and tried to slice the bagels open, they were rock hard. Not sure if I was given old bagels. I toasted and tried the bagels. They were ok, but the dough was very dense and I did not care for them. The service was not friendly, just pop the bagels in and pushed my direction, no smile or thank you. I don't think I will go back...
I love this place. I've been going here for many years. The bagels have just the right chew. The cream cheese is satisfying and the staff is professional and friendly. My go to bagel is the pumpernickel.
I was walking to Starbucks which is right next door when I looked over and saw house of bagels. I paused for a moment, and then decided I’d much rather try something new as I was just in the area for an appointment. The service was so fast and my bagel was made so quickly that I stood there confused for a moment hahaha. Excellent efficient service and my bagel was delicious!
