nice spot, for some reason they made me and my wife sit in the back room alone with no one else, they didnt bring any other customers back here either. it felt very intentional. we werent bad customers either so we were confused about why we had to sit far from everyone else in the establishment. the place wasnt even near packed at the time we arrived. it felt like a micro aggression.

Another bland food place in Alameda. Is all Alameda food bland? Or what is going on in Alameda? Is salt and condiments too expensive/non existing in Alameda? I have been visiting here for two weeks an every restaurant has equally bland food, with last one I try being this mexican restaurant la Penca Azul. I had enough.

Wow, happy music set the tone of the evening and the delicious food was the cherry on top. The staff was so welcoming and I was delightfully satisfied with my dining experience this evening. Definitely will refer friends and family and plan on dining at LA Penca Azul again soon.

The food was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥omg, the shrimp was LIFE!! I had the chicken & shrimp enchiladas. 😋 and I believe it was a strawberry margarita mixed with another flavor (I don’t remember) lol
