I called earlier today to let them know I made a mistake and ordered for the wrong location. The woman who picked up was so sweet and cheerful. I’ve never actually been to this location but her personality was definitely a highlight to my morning start. I didn’t get her name, unfortunately.

The older lady of shorter height is ridiculously rude and disrespectfull.

How do you differentiate a Peet’s from a Starbucks or any other retail coffee shop? I don’t know, they have all similar layouts inside, offer the same broad range of hot and cold beverages and food and all have the annoying habit of requesting a tip for taking an order. In this store my coffee was OK but not great - more caramel taste at the end and little at the beginning, there were plenty of seats and the restrooms were clean. I guess I can’t ask for more except, perhaps, some way of differentiating each store. Some hope.

A nice Peets with good seating and wifi. The air conditioning is a little much.

The real question is; why is a latte approaching $10? If you want a food item, be prepared to spend $20. That's per a person.

My favorite spot in Alameda. Me and my wife always go here after eating in a restaurant along Park St. Brings back good ol memories when we were still dating in our 20s :)

The coffee is fine the straws are horrible garbage. Cup is plastic and holds fluid effectivly. The straw is paper and starts to desolve upin contact with your bevrage. This makes for a most unpleasant experience. I have trouble taking peet's Coffee seriously because of how poor quality the straws are! It's very disappointing to se how little care goes into the delevery system for some of there main products. Womp womp.

Peet's is the best. Starbucks was founded by former Peet's people, they changed the color from brown to green, gave it a meaningless name (peet's is named for the founder, Alfred Peet) and gave the sizes dumb names.

ACTUALLY compostable lids! Perhaps this is more a message to corporate or whoever decided to switch from plastic lids to compostable. Thank you. You are beautiful, and we appreciate you! The young Barista told me, "Yes they are compostable, but they do not last that long". Neither does coffee! Lol. A temporary solution for a temporary problem. Now that is thinking. Thank you! Delicious espresso by the way.
