The Yard at Saltbreaker Reviews
Laid-back outdoor setting near old hangers in Alameda. Great drinks and very tasty food 😋
Tried this place over the weekend and found it to be quite good. The service was excellent.
We had the burger and fish and chips. Everything was seasoned well and arrived in a timely manner. The fries were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
Overall a solid 4 star place.

Visited with my daughter when her friend was playing live music at this restaurant. It is a pleasant place and I recommend it.

The Yard at Saltbreaker is a restaurant located by an old Government Agency Building revisited in a beautiful and modern Work / Live Lofts. The service was excellent, with staff who were precise, very friendly, and attentive. The food was delicious and well presented, with everything seasoned well and arriving in a timely manner. The fries were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
The menu includes the burger, fish and chips, oysters, clam chowder in the bread bowl, and the chopped cheese roll. The oysters were not too briny and the sauce was good. The clam chowder in the bread bowl was delicious but a little salty. The fish and chips were decent but too salty, though the Aoili and portion size were loved. The chopped cheese roll was the most liked, with lots of good flavor in the Dutch crunch roll. Drinks like the Rekindling a Cold Flame and Scarlett's Crazy Cactus Cooler are recommended for those who like tequila. The mimosas and variety of juices are also recommended.
The Yard at Saltbreaker is a beautiful place for a low-key brunch, with a great atmosphere that is very kid and dog friendly. It is a great spot to hang out if you have dogs since it's outdoors, and some of the tables have a fire pit, which is great when it's cold. The restaurant also did an amazing job hosting a 50 person party, creating the menu, seating, and set up, and was extremely accommodating and easy to work with. Overall, this is a great spot to check out in Alameda with family, friends and dogs.
