About Zarri's Delicatessen

Zarri's Delicatessen is a modest, small operations deli joint serving surprisingly tasty, no-nonsense sandwiches made with fresh ingredients and great bread. The pastrami cold cut sandwich on ciabatta is a hit, while the Tuna Melt with Fontina offers a superb texture contrast and flavorful tuna. The person who rang them up knew just the right cheese and condiments. The bread was all they could ask for: crunchy and toothsome yet light and airy. The place is small, cozy and has a selection of other food products. The Reuben sandwich tasted good, but they wanted it with more sauerkraut and sauce. This neighborhood deli is a great destination for satisfying meals.

Been Shopping here for 33 years. Amy Smolens and I recently enjoyed their frozen spinach ravioli with my homemade meat sauce. Like to stock the freezer with John's homemade meatballs. Always have a variety of affordable Italian wines. I like the Sicilian Nero D'Avola reds when available. Our LOCAL Italian Albany Deli.
