Even though this branch has been open for months now, it still feels like it's unfinished or maybe just understocked.The drinks come out super slowly, so I suggest ordering from the kiosk as soon as you enter. By the time you've made up your tray of baked goods, stood in line, and finished paying, your drink should be ready. Maybe.
This location is much bigger than other 85. They have a wider selection, but it is also more crowded and has a longer line. I ordered the macchiato cake and it tasted really good. I am sad that 85 discontinued the coffee brûlée cake.

I picked up an Ube cake for my friends birthday. I placed an order on the app and scheduled the pick up. It was ready on time and so pretty. They included candles and a cake knife as well. It was one of the best cakes I've ever tasted. Not too sweet!

I encountered this server Luz who is rude and mid calculated my items. This is the second time she checked our items that I did not but. Today when I confronted her she told me the spinach danish was $2.00 and I was charges $2.50 so I get a credit. She obviously had a language barrier. When she asked for my credit card I thought she was going to give me a refund of overpayment. No she did just the opposite. It showed a 0.50 boba charge which I did not order. Later when I tried to deal with her she spoke in Spanish with another co worker. Later I told the other worker what happened she refunded me $1.00. It's not the amount but their attitude.

The bread they make is okay, but the cakes are average and not fresh enough.
I'm surprised to see such a low score for this 85 degrees since I think it's comparable to the others I've been to. I love the breads and I think the workers are pretty helpful and kind. My go to bread is the brioche and they are always stocked! There was one time when I couldn't find it, but the worker assured me that they were making more and sure enough they were there. There are plenty of bakeries around the 626 area but I like coming here because of the selections. Plus, the parking is relatively easy too since they have their own lot in back.
