I have a great experience at Cha Express! The drinks were fresh and flavorful - my favorite was the Chicken Wings , waffle , Crepe and Perfumed Lemon Tea . The Staff was friendly, and my order came out quickly. The store was clean and had a cozy vibe. Definitely one of my go-to spots for boba and snacks in the area!

Avoid this place. Prices do not match menu. We Order food, this was sent out sequentially rather in one order. We ordered and had to wait 30 mins for chicken nuggets, 35 minutes for undercooked tater tots, 40 mins for over cooked potato tornado, and 50+ minutes for pop corn chicken. This is such poor service with the drink makers not trying to get the product out in a timely manner. Our drinks took 30 mins to come out. I would avoid unless you don't mind waiting 20-30 minutes for your drink. Hygiene is not up to par either. Seeing the crepe maker drop the wooden dowel on the floor to make the crepe and not properly wash it is disgusting. Legit avoid. All their food is frozen foods from Walmart or Sam's club.

Pretty full on a Thursday night around 10pm. I got the vibe that is normal for this place, it’s clearly popular. The gentleman preparing my drink kindly informed me my drink required some sugar. Good sized drink for the price compared to other spots I’ve been. I ordered it with 50% ice. Open very late. I would definitely come back if in the area again.

I love this place. The Hong Kong Iced tea is always priced low and we come here multiple times a week.

The team knows me so well at this point, sometimes my order is ready before I even pay.

I usually only come for drinks, but I like their takoyaki and they offer black sesame egg waffles.

Fancy? No. Great place for a refreshing drink, snack, and hang out? Absolutely!

You guys cancel an order after waiting for it for a good amount of time. This is ridiculous.

Literally waited 40 min after placing my order to get my milk tea. FORTY MINUTES. You would think it’s common sense to let people know if the wait is going to be long. Or at least stop taking orders if it’ll take that long. Or at least apologize at the end. Absolutely no communication. The worker is taking his sweet time and does not seem to be rushed at all either. I’d rather you just cancel my order and refund me if it would take this long.

When we went in at 10:30pm we ordered two crème brûlée crepes and it wasn’t busy at all. There were a few tables but looked like they had their order apart from one table.

After 30 minutes, I went to ask how long our Crepes will be. The one gentlemen working said it is coming. I noticed now that he was making the boba for the table that had nothing…I don’t get how it takes this long to make boba!!

So it’s now 45 minutes and another gentlemen came out with our crepes and just handed it to us, without saying which is the black sesame or Nutella. I had to ask before he left.

The crepes itself wasn’t great. My crepe was cold, if it took 45 minutes to make why is it cold?! I don’t recommend this place.

No sense of service,,,

I went early daytime and the dude was coughing over the food while making it. That's very unhygienic and disrespectful to the customers. Wear a mask.
I ended up not eating the food and just throwing it away. I should have just asked for refund.

Delicious boba drinks and wide food selection! They have a variety of milk teas, slushes, smoothies, and more with many toppings. I recommend the Oreo slush that comes with agar boba for $6.50. The croissant sandwich with ham, egg, and melted cheese inside was good although a bit burnt on top. The popcorn chicken was good but more bready and slightly on the drier side. Their peanut butter condensed milk toast was disappointing because it was only thin supermarket toast. Their pudding was a good texture and broken up into pieces, unlike many other places. Overall their prices are average in the SGV. They weren’t super busy but only one worker, so the order took 40 minutes to complete which was slow.

A perfect local spot that's open late. Love seeing white women enter and then immediately leave. Highly recommend getting a fruit yogurt drink and a matcha waffle at 1am after a concert.

I recently visited Cha Express, and I’m so glad I did! This tea shop is a hidden gem offering a variety of delicious drinks and snacks. The Portuguese tart egg waffle is a standout – crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside. It’s absolutely addictive and pairs perfectly with their drinks.

For something refreshing, the Mango Sago Pomelo is a must-try! The combination of sweet mango, agar boba , and the citrusy pomelo makes for a delightful treat that’s light but satisfying.

As for the drinks, I highly recommend the Yunnan Milk Tea. It’s rich and full of flavor, with a nice balance of sweetness and tea strength that’s perfect for anyone who loves a good milk tea.

Overall, Cha Express is definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. Whether you're after a sweet snack or a refreshing drink, they’ve got you covered!
