Excellent crispy chicken sandwiches that are made fresh- light with a good crunch and not oily. They are a little light on the bun bun sauce and we needed to order a container on the side to split which is an extra 50 cent. The curly fries were ok but not as crunchy or seasoned as one would hope. The walnut shrimp on bun seemed like a missed opportunity to be honeyed walnut shrimp on a bun- I think candied walnuts would elevate it some but that’s my take. The actual sandwich itself was fresh but also missing some sort of sauce and the shrimp patty itself is one note flavor wise but a good crunch.
I’d come back here for a crispy chicken sandwich and try the wings. (Though I’m concerned about sauces for the wings)

Super tasty, reasonably priced chicken! I got a spicy sandwich and popcorn chicken, and both were really good. The chicken was juicy, crispy, and flavorful. The seasoning tasted somewhere between Nashville hot and Taiwanese seasoning. Definitely gonna come back

Best chicken sandwich in LA, no exaggeration. Better than Howlin Ray's, Dave's, Popeye's, KFC, Main Chick. And even cheaper. What a giant piece of fried dark meat chicken, crispy as hell on outside, tender and perfectly cooked inside. Fried to order. Even the drinks are great.
To management: please turn Macho Burger back into Chicken Bun Bun on Sawtelle, I miss it

The best chicken sandwich place around!!!!!!! It should be called CHICKEN BOMB BOMB!!!!!!!! You will not be disappointed!!!!!! Everything is always fresh and hot..... slaps canes and chicken fil a all day!!!!!!!!! Highly recommend the " bun bun sauce"
We got the regular chicken dark meat, spicy chicken white meat, waffle fries, the mango greentea and lime green tea. The chicken sandwiches were both delicious, juicy and tender. The spicy chicken was ??? 3 flames of spicy and it was very spicy and flavourful you can't stop eating it. The lemon green tea in my opinion went better with the chicken than the mango one. Overall great lunch

Food is delicious!! I've ordered here many time. It is top 5 of my fast food cravings. We did a Howling Ray contest at home and overall we like the flavor and the juicy chicken at the Buns better at Howling. It can get spicy but it is so good that I can't stop myself. Order spicy at your risk. Service is great-That is the reason I finally posted. I was really really happy to get my exact order after the online ordering messed it up. He really did me in a favor! I appreciate it. The place is clean and usually have seatings. You can also order from a kiosk so that helps out with the queue.

They threw away my food, after I was a little late picking it up. Charged me and threw away my food!!! Asked for a replacement or refund and gave me the runaround. Worst customer service, I've experienced in the last 10 years.
