The guy with the bun hairstyle. He served us. To be honest he is rude. I don’t know what he thinks in his mind but no need to cross the lines when serving or talking to a person who you don’t know. And you can’t tell customer that customers must tip it’s our regulations. It’s against the law. I could report you for this and make bunch of money just for these words. I have done many cases with lawyers. So be careful and watch for your words. So disrespectful guy!

I was very disappointed with my visit to this place. The waiter was extremely unfriendly, responded rudely, and clearly had no interest in helping. The service was slow, and I had to remind them about my order multiple times. In the end, the food was also disappointing – they served a cold dish, and when I asked for it to be reheated, they reacted with annoyance. The atmosphere left much to be desired, and the service ruined the whole experience. I won’t be coming back here and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone!

Wanted to try Uyghurs cuisine for quite sometime, so get a chance to try this place. Almost every tables have the big chicken plate, it was too big for us so we ordered the lamb skewers, fried naan beef plate and beef noodles. Not sure what to expect, the lamb skewers were good. The fried naan beef plate was way too much dried spices, too overwhelming. The beef noodles has a different flavor. Like sweet and sour beef with noodles. However, the Malayan Tea pot was really good. Combinations of rose pedals, tea leaves and cardemom was so fragrant! That saved the meal.

The app said restaurant should have my order ready by 1902. Got there around 1915. Standing by the front counter by pickup area. They didn't even bother to make eye contact or ask me if I was been help. I have to catch them by chance to ask them about my pickup. Checked. Food is still not ready. Waited until about 1940 hrs to get my supposedly ready by 1902hrs food order...finally... I just ordered 大盤雞 and 暔🫠 wtf ..

There was a Chinese Muslim restaurant in Alhambra a long time ago, so it was refreshing to find a halal place that also happens to boast Uyghur cuisine specific to Xinjian Province in Northwestern China. We ordered lamb kebab and traditional lachman, both are well-seasoned and not overly greasy or salty. Service was fine and the ambience was a bit different that a typical Chinese restaurant cos it played Central Asian music.

We go to this restaurant once a week. I am breastfeeding, I need to eat well, but I can’t eat now because I had a worm in my lagman. My daughter was with me, she ate this lagman, now I am afraid for her, she is only one year old. I really hope that everything will work out and we won’t get poisoned.

Unique setting, bad service that don't tell you how long it takes to make things. (A 45 minute wait for a noodle dish is unacceptable.) Food was substandard for the price.
To clarify the following items (names not listed descriptions given) were purchased and consumed:

Cold mung bean noodles: lacking flavor in both sauce and sides. (The sliced cucumbers lacked acidity resulting in an oily dish without any appealing flavor) This was about $11 on the menu and was worth about $3 in flavor. You will find better options elsewhere.

Beef baked naan pie: the overall dish had some nice presentation, but it lacked in flavor. It was very under seasoned, very oily and overall is a disappointment for $20. All of which is disappointing because it could easily be fixed by adding some flour into the mix. Heck even the same flour used for the naan would work.

Spicy noodles (Northwestern style noodles on menu) according to the server it took 45 minutes to come out because they need 20-25 minutes to handroll the noodles. A piss poor excuse given how we have received noodles at other establishments that have been hand rolled with only a 10-15 minute prep time. Flavors are decent but like with the Mung Bean noodles. Its basically just chili oil, nothing else about it makes it have flavor and when there is no acidity or anything to break through, its just not good. Its just an oily mess. For $13 (approx) its not worth it.

There was also the Uyghur Milk Tea which was decent, however Milk teas are not salty for a reason. A reason very apparent when you try this one. Its sole value is as a palate cleanser, and I will easily say its better to just use normal tea compared to this. For about $5 its not a bad price to try out, but you will get the basic gist that this is a poor menu option, solely there for the curious.

Vegetarian options: About 6 dishes all of which can easily be prepared at home with a bit of knowledge regarding the ingredients.

Parking: Very few approximately 6-8 parking spots in their parking lot.

This is a sign for you to try Uyghur cuisine if you have not before. It is like a fusion of Persian, Mediterranean, and Chinese cuisine. Super delicious, big portions and fair price. The boneless chicken plate was huge and came with so much chicken. Everything looked great and tasted even better. The special tea is also great, one may even say their specialty. Would highly recommend to try this place.

Loved our experience here especially the golden pot of tea -- we even bought some to take home with us. We enjoyed the bread/meat pie, meat soup dumplings and marco polo lamb with rice. We also had the honeycake. Will have to return. It was like a vacation with the music and food. It has its parking lot. Next time will have to try the pumpkin dumplings and other lamb dishes.
