Customer experience is not worth the drink.
1. The drink was ordered 4:12pm. I received the drink at 4:30pm.
2. Once the drink was ready, The cashier toss the straw onto the table.
3. I said “Thank you” but received no acknowledgment nor a greeting back.
Based on my experience with the cashier lady, I experienced attitude and rudeness.
Do NOT come to this place again, folks.

Our first time here. A lot of foot traffic coming and going. Everything tasted wonderful, the right amount of tea flavor and sweetness in every drink. So many different drinks to choose from, will definitely come back to try more.

Very tea forward and not too sweet. I think this may be a place where I don’t mind 100% sweet where for other places I’d get a minimum of 50% sweet. Got the jasmine green tea 70% sweet and it was floral and balanced well with their non dairy creamer. I’m interested in trying the rose dreamer oolong.

This place looks nice. So let’s see if they’re pretty good eh or ew. They’re known for their drinks especially their teas which are highly customizable. I got their pink guava yakult green tea with basil leaves, less ice, regular sugar, black sesame typhoon, and black sesame umeyaki to try. The pink guava yakult green tea was perfectly sweetened with a nice light guava flavor and a hint of green tea in the back. Basil seeds also added a fun texture and my much needed fiber. The black sesame typhoon tho, MNM. It was like a black sesame milk shake. Creamy, nutty, vanillay, sweet, a bit grainy from the black sesame, and warm tasting even tho it’s a cold drink. The black sesame umeyaki was also very yummy. A fluffy vanillay not too sweet pancake stuffed perfectly sweet, nutty, sandy black sesame filling. This place is pretty good.

Good tea, sometimes line can get too long but their quality of drinks won’t go down just because of the flow. Their tea quality is very consistent.
If you’re looking for a more tea-forward boba shop, Formosa Aroma is the place for you. All their tea leaves are shipped from Taiwan and there are 10+ different types of tea to choose from. You can customize your drinks with any of the tea bases they have. We got the white peach iced tea and the black sesame midnight drinks. The drinks are really balanced and not too sweet. We were feeling a bit snack-y so we also ordered the black sesame umeyaki, which were cute and tasty as well.

This is my fourth time at Formosa Aroma and the consistency here is what keeps bringing me back. It’s easily in my top three tea spots in the 626. I always lean toward roasted oolong milk teas because I love that deeper aroma from the tea leaves. This time I ordered the Golden Phoenix Oolong Milk Tea with 50 percent sugar, 50 percent ice, and boba. Their boba is always spot on. Warm, chewy, and bouncy from morning to night.
The staff is always friendly and great at helping you choose the right tea or recommending something new if you want to switch things up. It’s also a solid spot to study. Plenty of tables, comfortable chairs, and it’s calm enough to sit and get work done.
Parking is free in the plaza garage shared with places like B.B.Q. Chicken and Lunasia, so finding a spot is pretty straightforward.
If you’re in Alhambra and love good tea, this place is a must.

They have many options for teas and milk teas. They also have a variety of milk substitutes. The shop is small but does get busy in the evenings. There is not much contact with the employees because ordering is done on a kiosk. The service quality I would recommend is the employees calling out the customers name when the drink is ready. I would recommend this place if you are trying to get a tea quickly.
