Haruya Ramen is a hidden gem for Japanese food lovers! This cozy spot on Fremont Ave won me over with crispy, juicy Chicken Karaage, flavorful veggie gyoza, and rich, soul-warming miso ramen. I sipped on a nostalgic bubblegum-flavored Ramune and smiled when they brought mini lollipops with the check—because adulting is hard and candy helps.
I saw this new ramen shop in Alhambra and had to try it out. They have a variety of different appetizers, rice, bowls, and Ramen. My favorite was a veggie Ramen since it was both flavorful yet light. I also really enjoyed veggie dumpling. Their tonkatsu Ramen had a very flavorful broth and paired so well with their spicy sauce. The inside of the restaurant was very clean and the staff were very nice.

Haruya Ramen in Alhambra is officially one of my new favorite ramen spots! The broth is rich and full of flavor without being overly thick, which I loved—especially in the tonkotsu ramen. Their house spicy sauce is a must if you like a kick—it’s made in-house and adds the perfect heat without overpowering the dish.
