The staff had smelly noodles, loud noises, and the room temperature was cold, and it was during the Chinese New Year. Moreover, the Shanghai thick fried noodles were half-cooked, and I guess other fried noodles, most of which used inferior oil. The so-called Michelin noodles were outdated and sloppy. They were just a sister version of Panda Express, but other restaurants were more professional and tolerant.
Some dishes are good some are so so. Service is great because charge you 20% tips by default for big party big table.
Desert Tiny Sesame Sticky balls in yeast sweet soup is good to try. Osmanthus, sesame glutinous rice balls, sweetness and wine are well balanced! (Balance of osmanthus, sesame balls, sweetness and wine flavor are just right). Dongpo pork and pickled pork are recommended.
There's a room for small party up to 24-26 people. Not bad.

An unbelievably good restaurant!! It surprising that this was a Michelin new inspector “Discovery”! I had the Do Miao and the filet Mignon with lily bulb and chrysanthemum tea and they served me a small cup of tomato egg drop soup while I waited, which was a nice touch. Very friendly, attentive service with soft piano playing in the background. I would recommend highly if you’re in/near Alhambra and I look forward to returning many times!
