I came here for lunch omakase over 6 months ago and still think about this place! The chefs were friendly, service was wonderful, the restaurant itself was clean and had a nice calming vibe, and the sushi was everything you would want in an omakase experience. I personally like simple flavors and not too many sauces that distract from the fish, and each course, I thought was perfect. any flavors were perfect compliments to bring out the natural freshness and taste of the fish....
I’ve tried the omakase lunch twice and both times, in my opinion, deserved five stars. The food was heavenly. It’s almost under stating to say everything was so fresh. The flavors combined with the textures of each offering was what sent me over the edge. Chef was masterful in the delicate balance of textures and flavors. Attention was paid to every detail, not only to the food but to the service. This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants for Japanese cuisine.
Absolutely sublime! This is the finest dining experience I've had and I'm so glad that I was able to enjoy it with family and friends during our first trip to Los Angeles. Not typically one for subtlety, every plate, bowl, cut, and dish was a work of art and incredibly delicious. Chef Fumi, Chef Masa, and Jon took time to describe everything so well and attended to every detail. A tremendous joy. I cannot wait to have a reason to return. Thank you
