First visit since 2017! Place has changed so much! Bread was not freshly baked and portions are skimpy! Quality is sub par! This is not the Love Birds I remember!!! Employees seem overworked and not friendly like before! Will not be returning!!!

Upon arriving the service was great and the cashier was super nice. It was not super busy and we got our food pretty quickly. We were happy to sit on the second floor which was warm and comfortable. We are so gonna be regulars here. The Turkey sandwich slapped; I ate that sh*t up so fast I forgot to take a picture, so all I could photograph was the wrapper; it has a bite taken out of it. I'm super picky about sandwiches but this one made me happy. The power up smoothie had super refreshing lemongrass and ginger notes and the blended mocha was the perfect amount of sweet. My gf ordered a Cesar salad and she was devouring it so yummy she accidentally bit off part of the fork. I personally believe both of us eating part of the cutlery/packaging says a lot about our eagerness to get to the tasty food but I understand if you judge us a little bit. Overall 10/10 experience, would highly recommend.

Quality if food is good. Portion size is great. Not overloading but enough to fill you up and then a bit more. Staff are attentive and aim to please. Prices are fair. Salad is about 13 as most dishes range from 11-15.

Great wild salmon sandwich. Good lunches and decent coffee! Pastries and cookies are good. Little sparse lately but still good.

Awful coffee! Generally you can go to a cool coffee shop and get some really good coffee. I was fooled by the name it doesn't reflect anything of it when you go in. But it seems like a lot of places around here they just add the coffee or menu there and they really know what they're doing. This thing tastes like a water down I don't even know what. Yuk. The place looks so raggedy on the inside it needs some love.I certainly wouldn't trust the food.A few things I look for in a coffee shop good coffee, good customer service, and a comfy place. None of the above.I think I'm just going to stick with the brand name Starbucks, etc the business around here

Lovebirds is a place for light and refreshing sandwiches. I often ordered their sandwiches for lunch to go and they always hit the spot. So far I have tried: Red & green- the veggie sandwich, something I don't usually go for but this changed my mind and I would often go back to it if I want a light lunch. Chicken salad sandwich- pair so well with the grapes in the sandwich. The sandwich is a little smaller than the others. Turkey and ham sandwich- an original and satisfying sandwich, can't go wrong with it. Vermont turkey- I never had apples in my sandwiches before but it ends a nice crunch and goes with the mustard and turkey. Lovebirds also offer salads, soup, pastries and coffee.

Always friendly efficient service!!! The food is always fresh and delicious and the sandwiches are made to order using dress ingredients!!! I've been going here for years and it's the best!!! Pastries, coffee and teas are excellent as well!!!

Haven't been here in about five years. Was really craving a tuna sandwich so I made the trip over. Was a little disappointed in the sandwich itself, as you can see in the picture they've really went down on portion size. We got here around 12:30ish, the place was empty which I was surprised by, but they had a lot of go orders coming over the phone. Same employees are still there. That was nice to see. Sandwich tasted great, it was just smaller than the way it used to be. Looking at the menu I see they now offer breakfast burritos and people were ordering them at lunchtime so that's good to know.

Nice little cafe in Alhambra near Pasadena with a simple menu of sandwiches, croissants, coffee, and tea. The location is convenient in a lot of covered public parking. The service is quick and the staff are polite. The food is good for a cafe and a simple breakfast, lunch, or snack. If you're looking for a full complete meal then you will need to find a restaurant.

Delicious food and friendly staff. I’ve been coming to this place for years because the bread and meats are such good quality. I love the Vermont cheddar sandwich on sourdough. The homemade lemonades are a plus. And I never forget to grab a pastry to go. Great lunch spot and one of the best delis in SGV.

11.50 for the smallest and most tastless tuna sandwich I've ever eaten. Go to Subway instead, a hell of a lot more flavor. Geez, I never thought I would say that.

It has been 6 years since my last visit and having a friend who had never been here I decided I should take her for the welcoming atmosphere, pastry selection and air fries. Well upon arrive I noticed the air fries were not in the menu anymore and the young male stated it this selection had been removed 10 years ago....which I recall going with my son 6.5 yrs ago and they were still offering this. But couldn't argue bc the worker was adamant with some attitude on it being that long. My friend and I ordered our breakfast and drinks. When I received my order the egg was not how I asked; my friend's ham and cheese croissant looked like if there should be more to it. As we sat to eat, the workers began a disagreement; one of which escalated to name calling using "snake" and "bitches," among other unpleasant choice of words and this lead to such a horrible & uncomfortable environment. Needless to say the atmosphere quickly changed and we left. We all have bad days.....but this whole experience left me disappointed as I would have expected more from this long standing establishment.
