We love the food and the couple that owns the restaurant. They are friendly hard working people.Parking: The parking is in the back. They have about 3 or 4 spots available. But there is free street parking in the front and a free parking lot that is walking distance with plenty of parking spots available usually.Kid-friendliness: They are kid and family friendly. Our kids love the farfalle pasta, and our waitress.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp from the parking lot to the restaurant, great for wheelchairs and strollers. They have enough space in the restaurant to fit with a stroller without being an inconvenience to others.

Pasta is pricey but good. I only wish it came with more of the non-pasta ingredients.

The best butternut squash I've tasted in a long time!! Creamy, light, smooth yet crunch textures. Yum!! If anything go visit just for the soup!

We went back again! Just as delicious on our second visit as it was with the first. This time we ordered the Chilean Sea Bass, Braised Short Ribs, Chicken Pesto Pasta, Garlic Bread, Angus Ribeye Steak, and Smoked Salmon Bruschetta. The best part was learning the story of how they got started and why they are only open on certain days - the reason being is that they want to spend time with their family, more importantly the grandkids. A true story of great work-life balance. My husband met the chef/owner and thanked him for the delicious meal. Definitely a place support.

The food here is exquisite!!! The food is quality and prepared fresh to order. If you want the fine dining experience without all the hassle of getting all dressed up and paying high prices this is the place! So far, I've had the braised beef, shrimp and potatoes, pan seared salmon, and stuffed chicken breasts. I recommend any of these dishes. I was afraid they wouldn't survive the pandemic but they did! Glad they are still open and that the food is still amazing as ever!!! Bon appétit

One of the most underrated restaurants and hidden gems in the 626!Great place for Asian fusion/Western food.Everything I've ordered here has been delicious. I rarely return to a restaurant unless it's really good, and I've been twice already in the past month. As I complete my meal, I look at the menu and already start to plan what I'm going to order next time. The price is higher than other 626 joints but it's worth it.I eventually want to try their whole menu.Wanda works the front all by herself and she's amazing! Can't wait to visit a third time next month. I already have my next dishes planned out.Favorite dishes so far are the duck breast and mash potatoes!

A delicious fusion so close to home. We brought our parents for an early dinner around 5pm on a weekend before the dinner rush, and it was 100% a win for them! We ordered quite a bit of dishes: ~Garlic bread-very simple, buttery, light garlic~Lamb chops-cooked slightly over medium rare, very juicy and soft, no gamey taste, lightly grilled veggies over mashed potatoes with chimichurri sauce~Seared salmon with mango salsa salad-refreshing, slightly tangy and sweet, pairs very well with the salmon and light tangy dressing they made~Cajun seafood pasta-a simple seafood pasta, didn't have much Cajun flavor, was an okay dish in our opinion~Shrimp garlic mashed potato-one of our favorite dishes! Saucy garlic shrimp that paired very well with mashed potatoes~Creamy shrimp pesto-another of our favorites!~Braised Beef Rib-very soft, fall off the bone with lightly grilled veggies over riceWe would definitely come back here again. The food can be a bit on the pricey side, but it is worth it on special occasions. Staff was really friendly with my parents, which I appreciated as that's rare to find sometimes. Restaurant is very clean and an inviting environment. Free street parking in front of restaurant, but make sure to read the parking signs.

Sage bistro has been in the neighborhood for a long time, and talking with the owner, it may not be here for much longer! So I'd suggest giving them all the support you can and hope they plan to extend their stay!Their food is delicious, like a fusion mix of interesting textures and flavors, it's always a delight to come eat here. It's one of my friends' favorite restaurants and it's not hard to see why! Service is good, friendly, and quick. Prices are reasonable, and everything I have tasted so far has been delicious! This includes the deviled eggs, butternut squash soup, chicken Farfalle pasta, and pan seared salmon: all were very good! The chicken pasta is very buttery and creamy, but not too overwhelming or heavy! Very filling, though! The chicken is tender and brings that extra savoriness to the dish. There is parking on the side parking lot and the side residential streets, so it's not hard to find parking here.Come try some home made food in this humble abode, it might become a favorite!

Came here on a Saturday night. Surprisingly, the restaurant wasn't too busy. The lady host/server greeted us & showed us to our table. We weren't super hungry so we skipped the appetizers & ordered two entrees. I had the sea bass which was buttery & tender. Vegetables were fresh & cooked perfectly, and the mashed sweet potato was perfect as a base to this dish. My partner ordered the lamb chops which came with side of chimichuri, mashed potatoes & some veggies. The lamb chops were cooked perfectly with a little pinkish center... super tasty & didn't taste gamy at all. I don't even think it needed the chimichuri coz it was tasty on its own. The only thing we didn't care for were the veggies... which were overcooked so the texture was too soft for our preference. We enjoyed our dinner. We also enjoyed our server who has such a great sense of humor. It really made our visit so much more delightful.

Family-style Italian place with large portion main entries. The delicious butternut soup perfect for the rainy afternoon.

I love coming here with the hubby for a nice meal in a quiet atmosphere with really the best food around. If you're looking for something different in the San Gabriel Valley, come here and try out the fare. Some of it is Asian fusion but my go-to is the garlic shrimp mashed potatoes. Over rice is also really good. The beurre blanc is perfect, headier than usual here, with tart capers and thyme. The mashed potatoes are perfect! The chef is from Idaho (or Iowa? I will have to ask next time) so you can expect the best mashed potatoes. Husband got the braised beef rib and it was perfect, falling off the bone, and served with a savory au jus-based mushroom gravy. Mushrooms, red bell peppers, and asparagus on the side as the veggie, served on top of a bed of white rice.I've also had the pesto pasta with shrimp (delicious), husband has had the jambalaya (zesty and peppery). Smoked salmon bruschetta is what we usually get for an appetizer, served with pesto spread on top of a small piece of toasted bread with the smoked salmon, a dab of cream cheese, and some dried cranberries, mmhmm, topped with smoked paprika (husband could eat a whole plate by himself).Service is friendly and efficient. This place is truly a diamond in the rough. Food is so good.Tips: you can find parking in front on the street or in the back. Across from Lunasia and close to Alondra's, a hot wings place.
