The place is a store front in a strip mall so there is enough parking. It is easy to find also. There were only two servers and it seems to be popular enough during lunch that service was minimal. We actually went up to the front desk to place and to pay. So in summary, not too good service. We ordered the black fish fillet in broth and stir fry beef. The fillet came drenched in chili oil, chilies and mouth numbing Sichuan pepper while there also plenty of sliced green/red chilli peppers in the beef. Both dishes were large so you get what you pay for. The bill came to about $40 for 2 people.I can't really tell you whether I liked the food or not because my mouth was numbed after the first few bites from the Sichuan pepper. That combined with the spiciness of the chilli I couldn't taste anything but salt and heat!I would recommend people to try the cuisine for an experience but not sure this is the place.

Have to wait for a long time on Saturday night since there is not enough table and seats at the small dining area. The House flavored Spicy Beefy tongue is really special and first seen at my side. The Chengdu beef inners are spicy but in good taste. The hot stir fried double delight seems that the proteins inside are too old to have a bite. The dishes they offer are somehow spicy. Might ask to adjust the spicy level when ordering.

The restaurant must be quite popular. There are still many people queuing up at 2pm. The food is of good quality, typical of Sichuan and Chongqing cuisine. The food is served very quickly, but the taste seems to be the same and the price is not cheap.

Yummy spicy hotpot!Seems like a new place, so a bit hard to find with all restaurants in the same building. It's the last one towards the supermarket. Make sure to check it out!

The grilled fish and stir-fried dishes are delicious, but the roast duck is not delicious and is not worth it.

The food was delicious, but the service attitude made me really drunk. After I finished eating, I wanted to ask for an extra box. I asked if I could get an extra box. She said no, so I asked her why. She said no why... It was another waiter sister. There's no need for the boss to ask your relatives to be waiters. You're so old and I'm wondering if you need to charge more for a take-out box. Just tell us.

The fried yellow throat is highly recommended. The boiled beef is also very good. The pepper fish is okay. The roast duck has a lot of ingredients. Friends who like spicy food can give it a try, but it doesn’t require a big table.

Could have been 4 stars but docked off points because they don't speak English... they need to be more inclusive and hire bilingual staff. Even just 1 bilingual staff would suffice. This is Alhambra not China, and LA let alone CA let alone the US is the most (linguistically, racially, ethnically) diverse place in the world... you can't escape it here. Trying to do so will only make it harder and more uncomfortable for yourselves. To make it easier, employ a bilingual staff that is customer facing and in the meantime slowly learn English yourselves, prioritizing content that is on your menu, common customer facing vocabulary, common phone inquiries and orders, etc. It won't happen overnight, but it'll get easier once you start and as you go... For the business, please know that my criticism does not come from a malicious place, this is said in good faith because it will be essential for your adaptability and survival in the long run... and I want to see your business continue to thrive and grow. Sichuanese food is my favorite Chinese cuisine and it's so underrated imo. Represent sichuanese cuisine and culture proudly to the outside world. But you can't do that if you can't communicate it to them. Show the world that there is more than Cantonese dim sum and roast duck, Taiwanese hotpot and noodles, panda express, chow mein and orange chicken, etc. Sichuanese food is the soul food of China. The only thing you should be resisting and never change where I would condone your stubbornness is keeping the peppery, fiery, spicy peppercorn flare of sichuanese cuisine... that is an essential and can never be changed no matter what. But speaking English shouldn't be one of those sore points. That said, the food was great. Authentic. Better than Szechuan Delicious imo. Aside from the non-English, they did the best they could service-wise, vibe is very casual - nothing special about interior. Located near several other restaurants, a bakery, etc. Parking is easy and convenient.

Food was AWESOME. My table ordered the ChengDu Spicy Boiled Roast Duck, Salted Egg Yolk with Corn (this was bomb), Stir Fry Bamboo Shoot, and one other spicy item that I can’t recall. The portions were GREAT for the pricing, more than enough for 4 people to eat with some leftover for the next day. Service is what you’d expect for a small restaurant that’s packed to the brim; we had to flag down the sole waiter (bless his soul, you could tell the man was overworked with no backup) each time we needed something, but eventually he did get whatever we needed to us. The restaurant itself is pretty small, and turnover on the tables can be a bit slow, which in turn makes it a bit of a lengthy wait to get seated. I saw a lot of takeout orders going out the door while waiting too, and with the great food, I could see why the wait is what it is. Will definitely come again, but probably not during the weekend/ dinner rushes.

There are many Szechuan places in SGV, but for a restaurant where you want variety and you want an assortment of tofu, potato, veggies, meat, this is definitely the place to go to. I do think that everything here is pretty heavy and there is a large amount of fat in a lot of the meat dishes, but if you can see past that, it's about 7-8/10 for me. If I would want Szechuan, this would be my go-to place.

Best Chongqing spicy diced chicken, pan fried pork kidney and duck blood we have in recent years. The lady who served us was very kind to offer help when I packed the leftovers. Go right at the time the restaurant opens so you don't have to wait long. It's a very popular restaurant.

Very authentic Szechuan food, especially for those who loves spicy food! I just wish the store is bigger and can host more people. Every time when I went there, the line is long.

The food was very tasty and the service was fine. We ran into this restaurant by accident but we are looking forward to coming back.
