Sichuan Spicy Bay Reviews
The current authentic sichuan restaurant approved by Chinese pplz. Taste is very good. 👌 Be warned though, the wait is very long.
Authentic spicy food with some unique dishes, especially the hotpot duck. The spicy level is a little beyond my level but still taste good. The downside/limitation is the sodium level was a little too high even I asked for a low salty level, probably they thought the low salty level might impact the overall flavor. Wait time is a little long but pretty similar with my expectation based on the information from social media channels.
Pretty delicious, but expect a long wait time before you come

Sichuan Spicy Bay is a small restaurant known for its authentic Sichuan cuisine, offering a variety of spicy dishes and some unique options like the hotpot duck. The restaurant is popular among customers who appreciate the numbing and aromatic flavors characteristic of true Sichuan food. Many reviews highlight the high skill in processing ingredients, with dishes such as intestine, liver, fish, and chicken being tender, juicy, and well-prepared. However, some find the seasoning a bit inconsistent, with certain dishes having too much sweet & sour taste or too much Szechuan pepper oil, creating a bitter flavor.
The restaurant can be busy, especially during peak times, and wait times are typically around 30 to 40 minutes, though reservations or outside seating can help reduce this. The staff handles the busy atmosphere efficiently despite being small in number. While service is generally viewed as adequate, some mention that the focus is more on the food than on customer service. The spicy level may be beyond some diners' comfort zones, but overall, the flavors are appreciated by those who like authentic Sichuan food. The restaurant's seasoning and flavor balance are generally well-received, and many customers recommend it for its good food and authentic experience, especially for those willing to wait for a flavorful meal.
