The pastrami dip at The Hat is legendary, and for good reason. The portions are massive, and the meat is juicy and tender. The fries are also ridiculously large—enough to share with two or three people. The place has a no-frills, diner-like feel. It’s indulgent comfort food at its best

Great casual vibe, terrific thicker French fries, tasty cherry coke. The BBQ beef sandwich was HORRRRRIBLE. The sauce leans towards the vinegar acidic, coupled with the salty beef - I don't throw food away, but I did this sandwich. Three small bites was two more than I could handle.

Was in the area and wanted to try before going back to LA. Thought they’d have a bathroom to wash hands and pee but they didn’t have a bathroom for customers. Food was good but they didn’t have big bags for to go orders. A bit disappointed. Bring a bag when planning a big to go purchase.

I know The Hat has a few locations, but this one hits just right. The pastrami is peppery and stacked high, and the gravy fries are a guilty pleasure. Orders come out quick even when busy. Seating spills outside, which is nice on warm nights. Bring extra napkins—trust me

They serve you alot thats for sure for chili and pastrami. There is not much flavor going on besides the chili being very hot. I wouldnt care to come back its not like this place has the best chili or pastrami both dont have much flavor i tried a pastrami burger at a different location tbh same thing. Its cheap food for your money thats about it

Pastrami dip that drips in the best way. Fries come in a mountain; share with someone. Service is quick and consistent. It’s counter seating and paper baskets—no fuss. Parking lots vary by location, but usually plentiful.

A classic. Do I need to say anything? Awesome atmosphere, and you won't find many restaurants where you can sit outdoors in an outing and enjoy your food.

If you’re craving a pastrami dip, The Hat is the place to go. The meat is tender and overflowing, and the fries come in portions big enough to feed a family. It’s been around for decades, and you can taste why it’s lasted so long. The inside is simple and old-school, but that’s part of its charm. Service is quick, and prices are fair for the amount of food you get. Don’t forget extra napkins

We love The Hat! Their pastrami sandwich is huge...filled with the leanest tastiest meat in a soft bun. The outside of the fries are crunchy with hot soft insides. A perfect combination! We tried the chili cheeseburger and it was delicious!

Food is always excellent! Been to other Hats but Alhambra is still my favorite for pastrami and onion rings!
