We celebrate the Chinese new year at this restaurant a couple of days ago. The foods are great, but they only have two waiters. EVERYTHING IS SLOW. But overall the place is worth to visit.
I. LOVE. THIS. PLACE! It's another sichuan restaurant opened as part of one of the latest 626 chinese food trends. This place is very thoughtful with its menu. You will see that the menu is designed as a coffee table book with editorial shots of each of their dishes, often plated in a super unique way. As you can see by exploring pictures of the food here, this place offers a novel and elegant dining experience without the high prices of places like Meizhou. Unique and fascinating array of Sichuan offerings. Everything we had was fantastic. Not big on vegetarian entrees, but the eggplant dish was superb. Had my doubts about the spicy cabbage and cod soup, but could have made a meal out just this one delicious dish. We've been on the hunt for a noteworthy Chinese restaurant that wasn't the same ol' same ol' or so-so carryout place and have finally found one.
