Easily the best wine list in Alhambra and possibly the SGV and Pasadena area. If you're looking for a curated wine list with excellent European and American options served alongside a stacked food menu this is your spot. It's not cheap but the quality of the food and service is well worth the price. We've needed elevated dining in Alhambra for years and we finally have it with Yang's.

**Service:** The service at Yang's Kitchen earns a solid five stars. It was impeccably on point, ensuring a pleasant dining experience from start to finish.?️ **Ambience:** The ambience and atmosphere of Yang's Kitchen are undeniably captivating. The space feels open, airy, and very modern, setting the stage for an enjoyable meal.? **Food:** While the food at Yang's Kitchen was satisfactory overall, it didn't quite match the excellence of the service and ambience. Some dishes were a hit, such as the fresh but small oysters and the tasty fish collars and shrimp ceviche, which were above average. However, the chicken wings lacked flavor and seasoning, and overall, the portions felt overpriced for what was served.? **Price:** The total bill came to $169.00 for four appetizers, a beer, a glass of wine, and a carafe of sake. While the quality of the experience was commendable, the pricing seemed a bit steep given the portion sizes and overall food quality. In summary, Yang's Kitchen excels in service and atmosphere, offering a modern and inviting space for diners. However, improvements could be made in ensuring that the food matches the same level of excellence, particularly in terms of flavor and portion size relative to pricing.

Beautiful, delicious food! We had heard about Yang’s Kitchen from a few lists of LA’s best restaurants. I was surprised to see a top LA restaurant in Alhambra, but very worthy of being on those lists. They are also excellent at addressing food allergies including gluten. What should you get:- APPETIZERS: Grilled Cabbage was shockingly good. Totally caught me off guard but we got it because our server recommended it. The chicken wings were also delicious, especially because they were GF.-MAINS: We got two dishes recommended by our server. The best one was the one I was least excited about, the Hainan Fish Rice. At 3 months into 2024, I can say that it is the best thing I’ve put into my mouth this year. We also got the pasture-raised steak with smashed potatoes and the green chimichurri sauce. I’d highly suggest both of these.

Contemporary brunch spot w/an Asian twist. Yang’s is more than just a restaurant, it’s a movement. Salmon + pancake = mouth orgasm.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Yanh's Kitchen, and I must say, their food is exceptional! I ordered the breakfast with steak, and it was cooked to perfection – tender and flavorful. The pancakes and salmon starters were absolute highlights of the meal; they were simply irresistible! The combination of flavors and textures left me craving for more. I highly recommend Yanh's Kitchen for anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying dining experience.

The pictures would seem like this place would not be worth your money and that it would leave you hungry but I kid you not, the grass fed steak was worth it. The miso soup and the multi grain rice stood out as well because of how authentic the soup was and did not feel like it was instant miso like how some restaurants do. The rice was perfect for the steak and the blend of texture was spot on.The only thing here though is it is a little bit pricey. Parking is plenty too so that’s a plus.

This place is a hidden gem on Main's street. Their food quality is awesome and offers alcoholic drinks as well. The steak and steelhead were pretty yummy. I liked my Martini a lot as well. The wait might be a bit long but you can join waitlist before you head over there. Services were good and the vibe is prefect. Great place to hang or grab togo for lunch. A bit pricy but worth for the quality.

I've always heard such good things about this place and I finally got to try it. I came here for dinner on Saturday. The Yelp waitlist wasn't opened but we didn't have to wait too long. They offered us a table outside but then some bar seating opened up inside so we sat there instead. The waitress suggested for a party of 3 to order 3-4 appetizers, 1-2 entrees and to share it all family style. Dungeness Crab Cold Noodle (3.5/5): This was a cold appetizer. It had a good flavor. There was a dollop of crab on top of the noodles but the taste was lost when it was mixed together. The fried onions overpowered the dish and made it too oily though. 'Secret' Potatoes (5/5): These were so good. Crispy potatoes with a chili crisp topping. Can't go wrong with it. It came with a side aioli sauce. Yang's Fried Chicken Wings (4/5): I wasn't expecting to get the whole wing. Drum + flat + tip. There was a nice crisp on the wings but the flavor was lacking a little. It did come with some seasoning on the side and a lemon which helped. Strauss Hanger Steak (5/5): Best dish of the night. We chose the 5 oz. The steak was cooked a perfect medium rare. We chose a chimichurri sauce to complement it. This also came with potatoes. Everything worked well together. I understand the hype. It is a bit pricey for a 626 restaurant but I thought the food was worth. For 3 people, the amount of food we ordered was good enough. Definitely will be back to try their brunch menu.

I don't leave a review unless the review is worth sharing :) I dine out at restaurants in Beverly Hills often with friends as weekend get togther and it is good to see restaurants serving menu mimicking Beverly Hills' fine dining in this area of LA in terms of driving convenience. We ordered 10 dishes. Below is the concensus constructive feedback from friends after dinner. CONS: - charges a ZFP restore the planet fee without telling the customer when the bill is brought to the table (always read your receipt before you pay) - uses a scanner to transact payment and server stands there staring at you to see the tip amount you enter (has 48% tip opton ;) how about 100% tip option ? ) - Dan Dan Campanelle ($23) tasted like a dessert (extremely sweet) - Hainan fish rice ($36) fish portion was small with fish cut in estimated 1" strip off the Baramundi not worth the $36 before tax is added. The fish and rice were tasty, but the portion is "highway robbery" lol - Black pepper sauce hanger organic beef ($32 for 5 oz) was over board salty (if you want high blood pressure then this is a perfect dish lol [In fact, a good thing I did not order the 12oz beef for $68, which I told my friends if the beef seasoning was good we should order the $68 as an encore ;) The beef was tender. - black sesame cake (poor presentation. It looked like a cow poop served with a glob of white cream lol (the crust was crispy and tasty, but the presentation is lacking for a restaurant mimicking Beverly Hills' fine dining menu) - market salad with seaweed served with SMALL soup bowl portion for $16 (small portion for $16 not worth the price) PROS: - decent service - relaxing ambiance - convenient no need to drive to Beverly Hills, or Old Town Pasadena - certain dishes are good (see above) Overall, decent if you want to take your friends nearby to pay for prices $16 (salad) to $68 (12oz organic steak) dishes without having to drive to Beverly Hills, or Old Town Pasadena. Again, portions are too small for the prices and certain dishes the food is either too salty, or too sweet. I would only return with friends because the ambiance is relaxing, service is good, prices are acceptable IF the portion sizes are not "tiny" and flavorings on certain dishes are not TOO salty, or not SUPER sweet like dessert for entree!!

I forget the name of dish , but got the chicken congee. Every aspect of this dish was done very well. Firstly, the rice was delicious, cooked on a very flavorful chicken broth, it was warming, filling, and healthful. The egg was soft, flavorful, reminiscent of a soft boiled egg that you would get in a bowl of ramen. Finally, the chicken was absolutely wonderful. Skin on chicken thigh (thank you very much), was crispy on top, and incredibly juicy. I did end up getting a side of the mushrooms, which is an alternative to the chicken. Personally, I think the chicken is the better choice between the two, but as a vegetarian, the mushrooms would've been good as well. Just a touch over salted in my opinion, but otherwise also very juicy and bursting w umami. The service was excellent (shoutout to Saki who is very knowledgeable and attentive). It was great brunch spot, would definitely bring a date here or come here with friends again.
