“Delicious, freshly made gyros to order. We ordered a beef/lamb and the chicken souvlaki pitas. We ordered with some modifications with sauce switch outs and they came out just as I ordered. Nice atmosphere & patio area too. Great service too! We are coming back regularly.“

“Isha is an endless well of positivity. From the moment we walked in I knew this food was going to be good. Got the Athenian Burger and Falafel Plate, and each entree was magnificent. I can’t believe we haven’t been yet and I’m already looking forward to coming back. Abu’s Tzatziki sauce was unbelievably delicious; light and flavorful.

“Fantastic Mediterranean food!! I had the gyro and my friend had the chicken kabobs. Both were amazing but I gotta say, hands down, the best gyro I ever had. It was huge and I actually ate it all! Service was amazing, everyone was so nice and we actually had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was warm and welcoming as well. The baklava ice cream is a MUST TRY!
PS they have an enclosed patio which was perfect for friend's kids to play while we enjoyed our meal. Huge plus!“

“We got the chicken pita and beef/lamb pita. The pita was really soft and warm. Everything else was sauced/seasoned very well. Definitely coming back for the food.
Cashier was super helpful and attentive. Seating area is kept clean and tidy.“

“The food is okay to good. Their chicken and all their food ingredients seemed like they were made fresh. I liked the Ranch dressing for their salad and chicken with rice... I ordered the gyro meal with the Chicken option last month.
Why I took away a star is because of the presentation. I ordered it to-go, and they put it in this small brown carton with no dividers! Like come on!“

“I can't believe someone gave them one star. Luna Grill has excellent service, the place is always packed, and it's VERY clean. I am a mail carrier and I come here often. I am also deaf. Alex, who has served me many of times, wears a shirt with sign language on it, which really touched my heart. He didn't know I was deaf, but the gesture really touched me. Paige took my order today, and what I've noticed about her is that she's ALWAYS smiling. Actually, they all always greet the customers with a smile. Those giving one star must stay angry all the time, because this place is top notch. This is UC Irvine 35. Let me say this. The place is so popular that by noon, it's packed. They have Uber Eats workers, Door Dash carrying dozens of orders out. So many orders that the Uber Eats worker needs a buggy. I pause and take my lunch early to avoid the lunch crowd, and they STILL get the orders out fast.
P.S. someone put in their bad review that Luna grill was out of water cups and that they only received a small portion of the chicken. Look over the rice. Look at the rice where the trail of chicken ends. You can tell there was chicken sitting on top of that rice. Try again.“

While helping customers, he was also keeping the place clean and making sure everything looked immaculate. “I was there for dinner with friends on July 4th; the food was excellent, and everyone left happy and full—so much so that I even forgot my purse with my wallet! I called the next day, and a young man confirmed they had it. A special thank you to the staff for their honesty and kindness in returning my purse safe and sound! You really saved me from a massive headache! A wonderful establishment!“

“We’ve been to Bravo Avo on Valentine’s Day (well, evening actually 😉) and it was exactly what we needed: a cozy place, with live violin music, great service (thank you Cristina for helping us, thank you Ljuba for the dessert suggestion) and tasty food (my salmon was 🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠). The overall experience was amazing, I highly recommend this place!“
