The food is ??? sooo good. I hope they grow a lot and are able to hire more because service was a little slow but totally worth it. Happy to support a local business. I'll definitely be back.

I use to love this place. I walked in no one said a thing to me. The prices were higher but that's fine everything is higher. Food came out, they forgot the cheese in my eggs. The turkey patty was not that tasty (get some Mommas Turkey or chicken, the customers will love it) never once did anyone come over to say how is everything or ask did I need anything. The pancake was extra large and was a bit tasty. I think this was my last trip to what was a very fine neighborhood location.

Had the shrimp and grits. They add spinach, which is a nice addition. Very friendly people.

Parking: Limited parking on a very busy street

The server was so nice and as a vegetarian I loved the cheesy grits and hashbrowns. Everything was so flavorful!

Hands down my favorite dining experience in such a long time! Soul food at its finest! You absolutely taste how much love goes into each dish! The shrimp and grits wholeheartedly knocked my socks off! This family owned business has been around for over 50 years and it absolutely makes sense how and why when you visit! Everyone is so nice and attentive! The woman making the desserts and food was such a breath of fresh air to talk to! You can tell how much of a perfectionist she is with the food! Even the coffee tastes amazing there! Small and large details make every bit of the experience legendary! If you like soul food prepared with love this should be your next meal!

Pretty sure the woman who served us was the owner because they didn’t have a couple things we wanted but she went the extra mile to make sure we got something wonderful, anyway. This was literally the best french toast I’ve ever had, and we will be back often!!

I enjoy cafes but unfortunately my experience here wasn’t pleasant. The service was slow and it wasn’t busy. We waited almost half an hour for our food to arrive and it wasn’t what I was expecting. The portions weren’t worth what I paid for. I wouldn’t come back here and hope the owners take this as constructive criticism.

Excellent hole-in-the-wall with delicious southern-style comfort food with a spicy flair. Very big "home-cooked" feel to it all. I practically needed to be rolled out of the cafe after I was done eating.Pick a time when you aren't in a rush -- it's a small joint with limited staff so be patient, but it's very much worth the wait. My only complaint is the over reliance on plastic and disposable utensils for eating inside. A couple of vegetarian-friendly dishes are available, but most of the dishes do include meat o/fish.

First, Im glad this place survived the pandemic. It's like they built a cafeteria in someone's kitchen. The food has potential, but was too greasy to enjoy. The bread was thin and toasted so long it was basically a croutons. The meat patty was dry and lacked flavor.I have ordered the food through delivery apps, and it seems to taste better that way.
