Best dinner in Modoc County! Nice atmosphere and the rib eye was fantastic! Salad bar was very limited but OK. Good service and a clean place. Prices are very reasonable. Much better than the Brass Rail (and I like that place too.)
The accommodations were ok not a five star resort but very comfortable. The scene out the hotel was breathtaking. The other reason is the people they were so friendly and accommodating. We ate at the Lake View Diner and the food was excellent. Loved waking up to deer outside our widow

The only bad thing I can say is don't set your salad plate on the plastic at the salad bar. but the great side of it was as I bent down to try to clean it up I hear " I'll get that and right away Alexis was there with a broom and dustpan. She wasn't our server but I watched that young girl hustle the whole time we were there. Seeing a young person work hard and with a good work ethic was great. (It is pretty rare these days) That girl deserves a pay raise or at least TIP generously...read full review
