The food was fantastic, (pro-tip, the double cheeseburger is HUGE. The last 4 hours of our drive to Tahoe was spent trying to shirk a food coma.) Good service, good prices, will stop again on our way back through
This is a family restaurant with you being the family. I have become a regular to the point they know my order and make it when i walk in. i get the hot shot it is two eggs sausage patty the size of a quarter pounder and then a full order of biscuits and gravy for 13 dollars. They are cash only and will take a check if it is not rubber. When going through Alturas in the morning this place will fill you up for the whole day of travel. You will feel like family here.
