We found Break Even due to a detour through Jackson. We ended up searching for a dog friendly place and a patio since the closer brewery didn't fit the bill. Break Even is as aesthetically pleasing as it gets. The bohemian renovations within the old bones of the original building are beyond charming. Had a great time on the patio with the family. Listened to live music and drank some locally sourced beer thoughtfully brewed on premises. Service was fantastic and the town is nice. A great day trip into the foothills, and dog friendly. Highly recommend this spot.

So I moved here 2 years ago - and I gave up trying to find cool fun places w good food and service but then I found this place ! Great beer! Great food! AND great service! Such a great addition to the smallest incorporated city in California! Just go - you will not regret! Thank you to the owner!!!!
