Carthay Circle Lounge was our favorite restaurant during our Disneyland trip. It was so good that we ate their twice! We loved the Vietnamese lettuce wraps the bao buns, and the Sparkling Mare cocktail was delicious. We had a reservation the first time and did a walk up for the second visit.

As someone who is the same age as Disneyland 1955?… & have traveled the world as a “Global Airline Flight attendant✈️”…. I know excellent service. I have found the BEST of the BEST with Jessica tonight. I watched her for hours @ the bar of Carthay Circle lounge. She actually invented the Mai Tai served here. It was the BEST I have ever had… ANYWHERE in the world ?❤️????! My Filet Mignon on skewer was delicious &&&&&& a fabulous price! Jessica works SO hard!!!….. & still so pleasant. I thoroughly enjoyed myself tonight!

We received quick and excellent service from Scott. He was able to answer our questions and offer tips. We appreciated that while this is upscale we were still ok to come is as we were dressed for the park. The portions were nice, ingredients were fresh, local and seasonal. The setting is beautiful and very comfortable. It was a very much needed oasis on a hot day in the park.

I'm glad I decided to try this place. Usually I'm nervous about places like this. The front host, quiet indoors, and really nice place. But the cast member host, hostesses, and at the bar were very kind and engaging. I had the African chicken and wild lemonade. Will definitely eat here again. Usually I don't go to places like this, in case there are societal or other norms I'm not versed in. But this one is in a Disney theme park, not an affluent exclusive place somewhere in the regular world. I came out more confident and assured. I like this place.

We've been wanting to go here forever, but was having trouble getting a reservation because it's so popular. I got one by diligently checking every day. The manager told me to come at 4pm if I can't get one and could probably snag a seat that way too! Sweet! The food, service, and setting were all perfect. You can watch the park from the sheltered terrace. My wife said the Moroccan Chicken meat balls were one of the best things she has ever eaten! The price was very reasonable and it's a more relaxed setting than the Carthay Circle restaurant, however, be sure to go in and check out the gorgeous bathrooms and ballroom upstairs. They do have an elevator and this restaurant was very friendly to me in my electric wheelchair!! Thank you Disney Cast! I highly recommend this as one of the best dining venues in either park.

I'm not a big Disney person myself, so I almost feel unworthy of having visited this place. However it was an unforgettable experience. The peak of hospitality. And lots of history in this room that not many people get to see.

Directly from Disneyland's website, this Lounge is described as an "outdoor cafe": "Choose from our Alfresco Dining menu—entrees and desserts—all with the bright, light, fun and fresh flavors of the great outdoor cafés of Europe." The photo shown is of an outdoor seating area. I booked my reservation 60 days in advance for dinner at 5 pm. Upon my arrival I was told that since I was a solo traveler I would be seated at the indoor bar. When I explained I booked the Lounge specifically for the outdoor seating, I was told that all the tables were four-tops and they did not want to take up a table with a single person. Looking at the seating area, most of the tables were occupied with groups of 2. So it was just solo travelers who were being discriminated against. I was told I could try to come back at a "less busy time" but they could not give me an estimate of when that would be, or I could eat somewhere else. The host and hostess were very rude and dismissive. Unfortunately, all the table service restaurants book up 60 days in advance so there was no other place to eat. I went to Guest Services and lodged a complaint. They were sympathetic and contacted the restaurant. About 30 minutes after my reservation I was sent a text to return. I was then seated outside. I made a point to check the tables and they ALL were groups of 2. Some were sharing plates and drinking water. I ordered an appetizer, entree, and three alcoholic beverages for a total of $120. The food, drinks, and wait staff were excellent. I would highly recommend eating here if you are a party of 2 to 4. If you are traveling alone I wouldn't bother trying to eat here unless you are fine sitting at the bar or willing to escalate a complaint up the chain of command.

Our lunch at the Carthay Circle Lounge was one of two "table service" meals we had during our 4 days at Disneyland. We ordered North African Roasted Organic Chicken and Strozzapeti Pasta. Fancy food, fancy price, mediocre at best. We reserved this restaurant because of the reviews and for its unique design (as seen in pictures taken by a professional photographer.) The interior is bland and boring. Lots of tan and brown and more tan. Not sure what others see in this restaurant that makes it so special. The service was as bland as the decor. We weren't sure if our server had a personality. $72, 2 entrees, no sides, a coke, a lemonade (no refills offered), and tip. If we'd ordered a cocktail the bill would have been well over $100. Everything at Disneyland is overpriced. Be prepared to be nickel and dimed, and sticker shock.

Pretty tasty food and drinks, could use a few more beers.

Considering this place is for Disney Club 33 Members and their Guests, the leadership of this place is rude an pretentious especially to non-Club 33 Disney patrons. As an aspiring Club 33 member, if this is the service you get and exemplifies the type of people the members are that I will be taking a hard pass. The Disney way seems to be lacking here in California. Walt would not be happy.

We booked this restaurant prior to our trip. Once we arrived we realized we would be seated in the lounge. With three kids I was a bit nervous but before I could be concerned our server Jay came by with a warm welcome and made us feel like it was fine. The food was great and he recommended a wonderful wine but the service made this a 100% must do again experience. As Disneyland and Disney world regulars this is one of our top 10 experiences. Thank you Jay!

We booked lunch here with our 5 and 7 year old. Pros: - nice ambience for a mid-day break from the crowds - quiet environment, very clean bathrooms - food is tasty - excellent service Cons: - portions are small but this seems consistent with all Disney restaurants - price was on the higher end but we also expected this at Disney We ordered the pasta, Bao buns, chicken breast, and kids orange chicken. Al dishes were very tasty. The hazelnut crunch Mickey pop was delicious although it was just larger than bite sized for $10. Thank you to Alexander for the excellent service!

We had multiple lunches here and it was amazing. The spring rolls are spectacular. The scallops were very good. It's a full service bar so you can order their specialty drinks or anything you want that's not on the menu because they can make it. We had great service and I really enjoyed their outdoor seating. They have indoor seating too but I recommend outdoor (you can ask for it). The salmon was also excellent. The menu is nothing like Carthay Circle Restaurant. The Lounge has small plates - not entrees. I highly recommend lunch or an afternoon drink and appetizer here.
