Ordered 20 samosas yesterday and the quick service truly impressed me. The taste was absolutely amazing — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. Honestly, one of the best samosa experiences I’ve had

Good small Indian market with a selection of sweets

Excellent place. Love how you can find everything in one place. They have an all in one store. Very nice people and very kind.

Don’t let the small size or quiet location fool you—Ambala Sweets and Spices is a hidden gem, especially if you’re craving authentic Indian food or need Indian groceries near Disney World.

The shop offers a little bit of everything—Indian groceries, fresh sweets, and delicious homemade lunch and dinner options. One of the best parts? The owner serves hot rotis, and you can genuinely taste the love and care in the food. The quality is excellent, and everything feels homemade in the best possible way.

They also carry a surprising variety of food items that you won’t easily find in other Indian stores around here. It's clear they’ve put thought into what people miss from back home.

There’s even a clean, well-maintained restroom, which is always a plus when you’re out shopping or grabbing a bite. The owner is super friendly and full of positive energy, which makes the whole experience feel more personal and welcoming.

Dinner pickup and dine-in is available until 7:30 PM, and the shop stays open until 8 PM—perfect for an early evening meal or last-minute grocery run.

Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area—whether for groceries, sweets, or a warm, homemade meal. A real local favorite!

I use to love their samosas but on my recent purchase I figured that they don’t make it over there as it tastes very similar to Haldiram’s frozen Punjabi samosa which is total disappointment!!

They have the best sweets and samosas. Freshness unlimited, taste really really good. This is my first and last stop,
every time I go to California.

Best lassis we’ve ever had! Mango and rose! Masala Dosa’s are gluten free. The people who work there are always super friendly and patient while helping us make our selections. I have celiac so I always have questions about ingredients.

Just a short drive from Knotts.

If possible I would give them -0 rating for their worst customer service.

This store is an absolute disgrace. The staff here have no sense of respect, professionalism, or even basic decency. After following their instructions to wait outside for 10 minutes while they mopped the floor, we walked in—only to be screamed at and insulted. The man behind the counter barked in Punjabi at the employee for letting us in, and the lady owner had the audacity to yell at us, saying, “Are they blind?” Excuse me?! Who do they think they are to talk to customers like this?

This wasn’t just bad service—it was outright abusive behavior. They clearly have no regard for their customers, and their disgusting attitudes prove they should not be running a business at all. It’s clear from the many other negative reviews that this isn’t an isolated incident. These people treat customers like garbage, and it’s honestly shocking that they’re still in business.

Do not give these people your money. There are plenty of better Indian stores where you’ll be treated with basic respect. This place is a complete joke, and they should be ashamed of themselves. Avoid at all costs!

White guy here: They're snobs, and potentially racist. Guy kept staring us down, thinking I was about to steal $3 worth of incense while leaving other customers of the same nationality alone. Food wasn't great, either. Skip it.
